Just got home from the most fabulous weekend in Austinmer. Rosemary and Peter are the most amazing hosts, the space is exactly as described, but is also so much more. Check in and chat with Rosemary was easy and delightful, the fridge and breakfast/snack basket is stocked with a wide variety of delicious things to eat. Every tea and coffee option you could want and a very well equipped and functional kitchen should you decide to do any cooking while you're there. AC, ceiling fan, high ceilings and some big windows help keep the room cool. The bed is super comfy as are all the furnishings. There's so many smart and appreciated little touches that Rosemary & Peter have in this BnB, I think they've thought of everything! Our best stay so far. Thank you both so much, we had the most relaxing weekend and it was very much needed. 20000 stars, we'll be back for sure!

"Great spot for the long weekend" Lovely accommodation right near the beach. Spotlessly clean with lots of extras... food hamper, stocked fridge, a keep sake teddy & easter eggs left for us on Easter Sunday.. We loved our Easter break in Austi.

This B&B is really great for a couple. When we arrived there was a basket of breakfast foods, A big bowl of fresh fruit, some tomatoes and milk butter cheese and more in the (full size) fridge. The kitchen has nice quality plates & cutlery and everything else a kitchen should have. The room itself is an old converted shop, and it is very well fitted out. It has beautiful high ceilings and some of (owner) Pete's great paintings on the walls. Leather lounges, huge TV, Telstra TV, heaps of DVDs. The bathroom is also very well fitted out including a washer & dryer. It is very quiet at night. Austinmer beach is a great little beach with a couple of small pools. The town is small with a few places to eat. If you want a drink the Headlands hotel is a nice 10 minute walk north along the coastline. Thirroul 10 minutes south has many places to eat. Overall Sure LA Mer is a great value stay in a great town.

"Fantastic home away from home" Can't speak highly enough about this property. Great location in the most beautiful street. Close to the beach, coffee shops, just perfect. Immaculately clean, and Rosemary has thought of every possible thing you may need while visiting. So much food supplied we couldn't possibly eat it all! Great value for money, highly recommend!
