Ruby's Place is a charming renovated miners cottage built in the early 1920's. It features polished timber floors, an open fireplace and is tastefully decorated.
At Ruby Place we like to think of the little things that make a place feel like home. Comfortable beds, chocolates on your pillow on arrival, specialty teas and ground coffee provided. Soaps, toweling and all linen included at no extra charge. We believe in providing excellent accommodation at reasonable prices. We challenge you to find better value.
Our rates are based on 6 Adults staying but we have accommodation for up to 8 Adults.
Located in Cessnock, only 45 min from Newcastle CBD, two hours from Sydney Airport and one hour from the N.S.W. Central Coast, it is an ideal location for touring the vineyards and surrounding sites.
The house consists of 3 generous sized bedrooms. The first with a king size pillow-top bed, the second with a queen size bed, the room has timber paneled walls and ornamental open fireplace; the third bedroom has a double bed. All linen and towels are provided.
There is a fully equipped eat-in kitchen with electric stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee percolator, utensils, crockery, cutlery, wine glasses etc.
The lounge room has a cosy fireplace for those winter evenings, where you can relax and enjoy the local wine and produce of the beautiful Hunter Valley.
The yard is fully fenced with plenty of room for pets or kids to play. Plenty of off street parking, front porch and paved undercover patio at the rear with BBQ.

Our family enjoyed Renee’s warm and inviting home. We spent a night there after our tour around the vineyards and enjoyed a the backyard by ending our day with a bbq. It was clean, it had everything we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. I’d come and stay in this place again when I return to Hunter Valley.

Renee’s home is beautiful. Located in a good area with easy access. Spacious bedrooms and extremely welcoming with all amenities needed. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

"Excellent Stay" We really enjoyed our stay. We were a party of 3 adults and 4 kids and didn't feel cramped:) Beds were very comfortable and the aircon was a lifesaver in the heat.
