Set on 5 beautiful acres with lush green paddocks, fruit tree orchard, babbling brook, swimming pool with built-in spa, large deck area, Bali gazebo and a ornate BBQ is "ROTHWOOD".
Add to this the the old homestead which has been lovingly restored to it's former glory. With 4 bedrooms in the main house and a separate room with it's own vanity basin overlooking the stable yard, Rothwood is a mix of old quirky, rustic, nostalgia meets new modern decoration, artwork and furnishings.
3 of the bedrooms have split king singles which can be tailored to your specific sleeping requirements. All bedrooms have flat screen TV's, timber blinds and polished Jarrah flooring. The fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, pots and pans, and gas stove oven, provide all you require to knock up a special feast. There are
2 lounges and a formal dinning room which complete the internal layout of the property.
Outside is a swimming pool with built in spa, large deck area, Balinese gazebo and brick built BBQ with granite bench tops. To the rear of the property are large gum trees and a fruit tree orchard with oranges, lemons, papaya and mango. It's really quite lovely to sit beneath the shade and listen to the babbling brook that meanders through the gardens.
At Rothwood we are much more than just a B&B. With all of our fantastic facilities we see Rothwood as an ideal location for business’es to rent the whole property for corporate events, entertaining, team building weekends or even that Christmas party with a difference. It’s also a great location for family gatherings, anniversaries, birthdays or of course that special romantic weekend away.
With the Balinese gazebo set slightly higher than the big deck area it makes for a great wedding venue. Be sure to call and book early to avoid disappointment!
We are at the base of Perth’s hills with the town of Kalamuda and Lesmurdie falls only a short trip up the road. There is also a local Perth transport bus stop (50m’s) at the front of our property which can take you into Perth or to the afore mentioned Kalamunda.
