Mullaloo Retreat is a modern, relaxing, holiday accommodation in Mullaloo. It is just a short stroll to the lovely Mullaloo Beach with it's golden sands and amazing sunsets. The famous Mullaloo Beach Hotel can be found here opposite the beach with it's premium restaurant, cafe and bottle shop. This beautiful fully fitted out accommodation has everything that you will need to make your stay enjoyable and more. Minimum stay 7 night.

Mullaloo Retreat lives up to its name, with its modern living accommodation and its sparkling lagoon style pool. You will find it an easy place to chill out and relax through all the seasons. 

This beautiful holiday accommodation is self-contained. It has a modern gourmet kitchen, fully equipped with a wide range of appliances and with stunning granite bench tops. There is also a fully fitted out laundry with washing machine, sink and storage cupboard. The kitchen is open plan with a dining area and a corner lounge suite, so you can socialize whilst preparing meals. 

The huge master bedroom is fitted out with quality fixtures and fittings, wardrobes with a full length mirror, Queen size bed, and lounging area with TV entertainment unit and a flat screen TV. The bedroom window looks out on to the lavish garden and sparkling pool.

The large modern ensuite is fully tiled from floor to ceiling and offers a large shower, toilet, modern wash basin unit and storage facilities.  A door leads out to the outdoor entertaining area and pool where you will find your own part of the garden to sit and relax with a nice gl1ass of wine. At the back of the property you have your own manicured artificially grassed outdoor entertainment area with table and chairs to relax and unwind. The pool has a wind out umbrella if needed for sun protection. There is also a second outdoor entertainment area with barbecue and a large dining area for your use.

This property is an annexe/granny flat, separate from the main dwelling and has its own private entrance. The front of the house is spacious with a large driveway with room to park several cars. This property has been fully renovated to a high standard for your convenience.

Mullaloo is named after an Aboriginal word, believed to mean "place of the rat kangaroo". It was first recorded in 1919 as Moolalloo Point, but the spelling was later changed to Mullaloo.


Mullaloo is renowned for having one of the safest and best beaches in Western Australia.The Mullaloo Surf Life Saving club patrols around 4.5 km of beach between Pinnaroo Point and Whitfords Point, between September and April. There are picnic areas and outdoor barbecues on the park where you can sit and watch the sunsets.


Alternatively, you could enjoy a glass of wine or beer at the Mullaloo Beach Hotel or even have your lunch or dinner there. Maybe you would prefer a coffee and cake at the Dome cafe which is also situated in this complex. Mullaloo is well seviced when it comes to shopping malls, supermarkets, cafes and liquor stores so you will never run dry!


For exercise lovers, a cycle path runs alongside the beach offering spectacular views of the Indian ocean. Whales and dolphins can be spotted here regularly. 


For adventure lovers, try your hand at kite surfing off Pinnaroo point. Or, hire a boat from Hillary's Boat Harbour (another leisure and entertainment area) and go fishing for the day or visit Seal Island.


From Hillary's, there is also a ferry that takes you to Rottnest Island which offers breath taking beaches and excellent diving or snorkelling opportunities. Rottnest Island is visible from Mullaloo Beach.

Booking Contract Rules

 

1. DEFINITIONS

“Booking” means the period for which you have paid to stay at the Property.

“Property” means Mullaloo Retreat and all its fixtures, fittings and equipment.

“Management” means the owners and managers of the Property.

"Guests" means the persons who stay overnight in the Property during the Booking.

"Visitor" means a person a Guest permits to visit the Property during the Booking.

2. ACCEPTANCE & RESPONSIBILITY.

• Payment of the Deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

 

3. CHECK IN/ OUT

• Check-in time is not before 2pm (unless by prior arrangement) on the arrival date and check out time is not later than 10am on departure date.

• Late departure is subject to prior arrangement and availability and extra charges will apply.

• You must notify Management of expected arrival time and a mobile contact number at least 7days before arrival.

• Check-in/check-out and key collection/return procedure will be as follows owner will arrange to meet guest at lodgings, unless special arrangements have been made prior to arrival.

 

4. PAYMENT

This section is applicable to those Property Owners that do not accept payment via the Online Payment System

• A deposit of 30% of total holiday cost must be received within 7 days after the Booking is taken by Management. Bookings are not confirmed unless and until this deposit is received.

• Payment in full must be received no later than 4 weeks prior to your arrival.

 

• Payments of the amount due must be received in Australian $ net of any bank or other transaction charges.

• Please ensure payments are made within the specified time limits or the Booking will be cancelled automatically without notice or liability to you.

5. CANCELLATION OR VARIATION

Payment System

This section is applicable to those Property Owners who do not accept payment via the Online Payment System

• If you wish to vary or cancel your Booking, please contact us immediately on 001161894023381 or by email: paulelv61@gmail.com

• Your deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.

• If you have paid more than the deposit or paid in full and cancel your Booking you will be refunded the balance less the deposit.

• Should you be eligible for a refund it will be made through your chosen payment method at time of Booking.

• A variation of the Booking which reduces the number of nights stay will be a treated as a cancellation of the Booking in respect of those nights.

• A variation of the Booking which reduces the number of guests will be treated as a cancellation of the Booking in respect of those guests>

• An administration charge of $25 will be charged for any variation or cancellation.

• If Management is able to relet the Property for the period cancelled a further refund may be made less administration charges, commissions and expenses>

• We have a minimum nights stay policy of 7 nights. No refund will be made for a variation to the extent that it breaches our minimum nights stay policy.

 

 

 

 

6. SECURITY BOND

Either:

• A bond payment of $500 is required at the same time as the outstanding balance of your Booking. It will be credited to your designated payment method once our property has been inspected and deemed left in a similar state to your arrival. We agree to ensure this occurs within 7 working days of your departure.

• Any damage, loss or expense incurred by Management as a result of your breach of these Terms & Conditions will be charged against the bond. Examples of this include but are not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared.

 

 

7. UNAVAILABILITY

• If the Property becomes unavailable for your occupancy due to unforeseen circumstances (eg. fire, storm, damage, etc) then Management will inform you immediately and endeavour to obtain suitable alternative accommodation for your occupancy; failing which any moneys paid will be refunded in full.

 

8. PARTIES & FUNCTIONS

Either Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited.

 

9. LINEN AND TOWELS

Either

• We supply linen, pillows, blankets and towels which must be left where supplied in the bedrooms or bath room on departure. Further linen may be hired through Management. Beach towels are not included.

 

10. PETS

• Pets are not allowed at the Property

 

11. YOUR OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• You must comply with all applicable House Rules and all instructions from Management and the caretakers of the Property concerning occupancy, property, health, safety and quiet enjoyment of the Property and our neighbours.

• You are responsible for damage, breakages, theft and loss of the Property and any part of it during your stay. You must notify us of this immediately. Management may recover from you repair or replacement cost (at Management's discretion)

• Only the guests nominated and agreed in the Booking may stay in the Property over night. If any other guests stay extra charges may apply or the agreement may be terminated without refund.

• Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund and extra charges may be made for security and other expenses.

• Before departure, all food must be removed from fridges, all rubbish put in the appropriate council rubbish bins provided, and crockery and cutlery washed and packed away. The Property must be left in a clean and tidy condition.

• Extra cleaning charges may be incurred for the cleaning of dirty dishes, washing machine, dishwasher, emptying the fridge, removal of excessive rubbish etc. Should the cleaning fee be more

than the usual cost for cleaning the property, you will be charged the additional costs over and above the normal cleaning fee which will be deducted from the security bond or charged to your credit card

• All furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in when you arrived

• The property should be vacated on time and secured. All windows and doors are to be locked. All keys must be returned to Management or as otherwise directed.

• You are responsible for the safekeeping and replacement of accommodation keys. Duplicate keys will be provided at an additional charge of $25.

• Smoking is not permitted in the Property

 

 

12. PROBLEMS OR COMPLAINTS

• In the case of any problem or complaint, you must inform Management at the earliest opportunity so Management has the chance to rectify the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible. You must allow repair/service access to the property during reasonable hours.

• Any complaint, which cannot be resolved locally, must be notified in writing to Management prior to departure from the Property.

• Failure to follow this procedure this may hinder the ability of Management to rectify the problem or complaint and reduce or extinguish any claim you may have.

 

We recommend all guests purchase travel insurance since Management are not responsible for any injuries, illness or accidents that may occur whilst staying at our property

We stayed at this lovely property for 2 weeks while we looked for a permanent rental property, having just emigrated to Perth. It was very well equipped and in a great location for shops, the beach and the hosts were very helpful to us. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to other people emigrating or to family and friends who wish to holiday in Perth. We stayed at this property for 10 days while we waited for our pernament rental to be ready. The property is very clean, spacious and well equipped and the bathrooms and kitchen are beautifully fitted and modern. The garden is lovely with a great undercover entertaining area and pool The property is within easy walking distance to the shops and a short drive to the beach.
