Meadow Cottage Guildford

Is in a fantastic location as it is walking distance to restaurants, train, shops, parks, character pubs cafes and the beautiful Swan River and many heritage sites and walks.  It is also within a 5 minute drive to the Swan Valley and the wineries, and many tourist stops like the chocolate factory, cheese factories, olive and coffee places.  There is also many breweries and distilleries in the area that all welcome tourists and tastings.

It’s a trendy but old suburb that is expensive to buy real estate in but a cool place to rent, very close to the airport and the city of Perth.

It is in a great historic heritage area with lots of fabulous antique stores, cafes,[ubs,  the Famous Alfred's kitchen and lovely walks and cycle paths. The cottage is In the same street as and nearly opposite the old historic fire station, Garrick theatre and old library and  Town Hall.  Very close by is the famous Alfred's Kitchen - people come from far and wide to taste their famous burgers, Pea and Ham soup and curries cooked on the old wood stoves.  On the corner is the Stirling Arms hotel and close by is the lovely Rose and Crown and Woodbridge hotel.  They are great old pubs that have lovely meals and outdoor areas for all the family to enjoy. There are many other food choices within walking distance. These include Vietnamese, Italian, Thai, Gourmet, Australian, European, Bakeries and many lovely coffee shops and cafes.

Meadow Cottage  has a large back yard of about 800 square meters with a fenced pool. What is even better it is located opposite Kings Meadow polo ground and a few doors down from a park, perfect for children. The house is safe as it does not have any steps or drop down it’s a lovely flat landscaped block..

It is a short or long term holiday rental, from $225 per night with a minimum of a 2 night stay.  We do offer better rates for very long term bookings.  The rates are also higher for all public weekends, school holidays and special events.  

It is fully furnished including all cooking equipment, cutlery, crockery, dishwasher microwave, fridge, BBQ, outdoor furniture etc. It will be completely set up for walk in walk out holiday rentals, however I am also prepared to offer longer terms as well. It will also suit FIFO workers on their week off to be to so close and handy to Perth with all the facilities at your door step.

Very easy to find Meadow Cottage.


On the corner of Meadow and James Street is the Stirling Arms Hotel, the Town Hall and Guildford Library.  Turn into Meadow  St from James Street go to the end approximately 100 metres and it is located on the corner of Meadow and Helena Street with a lovely outlook onto the Kings Meadow Oval.

Terms & conditions

Occupancy Number

The house sleeps 6 people and consists of 3 queen size beds. The property is unable to cater for more than 6 people at one time and we advise that tents, campervans or caravans cannot be accommodated on the property.

This number must not be exceeded at any time and will be strictly enforced. This means no additional guests that are not part of your booking party. You will be asked to leave immediately if you bring in any extra guests. Additional charges will also be deducted out of your bond. The Management reserves the right to know whom is in the house and at the property at all times.

Animals and Pets

No animals or pets are allowed on the premises at all. This includes the inside and outside of the property. If you wish to bring a pet you must get the owners prior permission.


Meadow Cottage is fully self contained and includes a, Dishwasher, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine, Iron, Television, DVD and VHS.


Any damage to the building, furniture, floor coverings or equipment will be charged to the tenant. Please do not attempt to repair any damages yourself. Please advise the manager or owner whom will organise repairs. You will be charged for repairs and/or replacement of damaged or missing items.


For the convenience of others please leave this property as you found it, neat and tidy. Cleaning fees will be charged if the house, outside areas and barbeque are not left in the original condition as on your arrival and requires extra cleaning. Please leave the barbeque clean and ready for use.


To be placed in bin provided (please use bin liners and wrap all food scraps) then transfer to green bin outside.


Tenants are to occupy the premises in a manner which will not cause offence to or complaint by the neighbouring residents. The noise does carry through the streets. Please after 11pm keep noise to a minimum especially outside or by the pool. No smoking inside the home.


Please leave keys where instructed. All doors and windows must be left locked and all lights and appliances switched off. If you are leaving on a day other than that specified please contact the owner so that keys can be collected early.

Maintenance and Service Problems

Service, Electrical, Plumbing or breakages and other problems are to be reported immediately to the caretaker or owner for attention
