Rock of Ages B&B

Award Winning Colonial Accommodation. José Hopkinson warmly welcomes you to her lovingly restored stone cottage on the Greenough Flats approximately ten minutes south of Geraldton, and four hours drive north of Perth.

The cottage, originally built in 1857 by a ticket of leave convict, offers friendly, quiet and comfortable country hospitality in a smoke free environment consisting of 1 queen room and  1 double room plus single bed . with shared bathroom facilities. There is also a guest lounge-room, a separate dining area and a heated garden gazebo spa.

The area of Greenough is rich in history and nineteenth century architecture, with the National Trust's Hamlet just a few kilometres away. During the wildflower season there are many areas abundant with flowers that are within a comfortable day trip of the Greenough Flats.

Enjoy great food and coffee or relax over a quiet drink whilst stepping back in history.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rock of Ages. The house was very comfortable and the environment was beautiful. The bed was comfy and the shower hot and good. A lovely breakfast was provided and Jose couldn't have been more helpful. We can thoroughly recommend it. We'd definitely stay there again if possible - it was one of the nicest places we've ever stayed in.5/5 by , Rock of Ages
Our group of 6 stayed at Rock of Ages B&B over the Easter's weekend. The cottage was so pretty with English cottage vintage style making us feel at home since the very first moment we walked in. It was beautifully decorated, clean, and had got the old world charm. Josie was so helpful and generous. We got bread, cereal, milk, orange juice, yogurt and fruits for breakfast which was more than enough for 6 of us. This's been our first B&B experience and we were soooo impressed. This B&B worths every dollar we spent! I'll definitely go back next time we go up north. Sophie5/5 by ,

Rock of Ages was most charming. We stayed over Anzac long weekend and were cheerfully welcomed and also invited to the Greenough dawn service. Our host was warmly helpful but not intrusive. We were pleasantly surprised by, and enjoyed the history of the place and surrounds.4/5 by ,

Rock of Ages Cottage was a wonderful experience. The accommodation was superb and of the highest quality, full of character and old world charm. What made it such a memorable experience was the friendliness of Josie and her husband who welcomed us like one of their family. The value was fantastic with lots of extras like the spa, fresh made muffins for supper, home made jams, fresh croisants an extra for breakfast. We can't wait to go back again. The cottage can accommodate up to 6 but as there is only one bathroom I don't think I would like to share with people I didn't know.Attention to detail was obvious everywhere.Because of the antiques and old china displayed I would not be comfortable with litle children around. We fell in love with the cottage.5/5 by , WA

It was the best place we have ever stayed. The scenery was spectacular as was the peace and quiet which we loved. The beds were not only comfortable but also inviting. The facilities were very clean and well set up. The opportunity to have more than one family stay is great. It was good value for money and we will be returning again.5/5 by , WA
