The recently renovated character filled cottage is tastefully furnished and contains a collection of the owners own antiques. One Queen size bedroom and one twin bedroom. Beautiful linen and towels are provided with complimentary The White Company toiletries. Lounge with gas fireplace and TV. Spa bath and shower. Fully functional kitchenette and laundry facilities.
The cottage is set in 5 acres of Edna Walling-style gardens which the new owners are now in the process of restoring to their former glory. The cottage has its own secluded courtyard overlooking the gardens.
A complimentary breakfast hamper of home made and local produce is provided for your first two mornings which includes half a dozen free range eggs from our own chickens.
Parking is available next to the cottage.

Dingleigh Cottage is a short 5min walk into Sassafras. Only 50 minutes from Melbourne central and approximately one hour from Melbourne airport.
Sassafras is an attractive historic village located in the scenic Dandenong Ranges, situated just south of the popular tourist destination of Olinda.
The town features a diverse collection of cafes, antique and craft shops. The most recognizable building in Sassafras - the Miss Marples Tea Rooms is housed in a beautiful two storey English Tudor style house. Ripe Cafe, King Henry Arts Cafe, Cafe de Beaumarchais, Dine Divine and the Black Kettle all provide ample choice for culinary delights.

Children can feed the chickens or befriend Benny (our very friendly resident border collie). Baby sitting available upon request. Dingleigh Cottages garden boasts a majestic oak tree planted in 1901 to celebrate Federation. The garden also attracts a large array of native bird life, king parrots, rosellas, kookaburras and many others.
Friendly and fully house trained pets permitted (in laundry and outdoor area of the property only). Child friendly. Smoking on the property not permitted. Sorry, no wheel chair access available. Strictly no group parties permitted.
