Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation
A non refundable deposit is required to secure the booking. Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Balance of the rental amount must be received in full 7 days prior to occupancy. If not the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re let it.
Cancellation if caused by the client, money paid is not refundable.
The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.
Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email with the owners. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.
Please note we do not accept guests under 21 without a guardian, as part of our insurance requirements. Result of this condition being breached will result in termination of the stay and forfeit of the tariff and bond.
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial.
Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and or additional payments.
Damage, breakages, theft and loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay.
Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. The furniture and furnishings must be left in the position they were in upon arrival, this includes the porta-cot, non conform of this condition will incur a $50.00 fee.
Check-out time is TBA, to allow time to prepare property for next guests.
Disturbance to our neighbors, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.
Bond is payable at the same time as the balance amount. The bond will be refunded within 14 days of inspection of the property, in full subject to the above conditions being met. It is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage, excess cleaning requirements, rubbish removal, extra guests beyond those declared etc.
As stated the property should be left in a similar state to your arrival. If furniture is moved it is the tenants responsibility to make sure items are put back into the same position as was upon arrival.
Cleaners are responsible for 2 hours of basic cleaning of the bathrooms, etc, but excess cleaning will be charged if it exceeds the 2 hours. Basic vacuuming, wiping down of benches and cleaning of appliances should be done before your departure. Rubbish should be taken out into the bins provided and put at the front gate (unless otherwise agreed). There is a guideline book on the property, on the kitchen bench. Cleaning of the BBQ, excess cleaning, or excess rubbish will be taken out of the bond.
Linen is to be supplied by the tenant unless prior arrangements are made with the linen service. If you choose to bring your own linen and do not use linen, a cleaning fee will be charged to have all protectors and bedding cleaned.
Damage to home theater chairs will be costed and charged to the occupier.
Remote controls will be charged for if lost.
Pets are not allowed unless specific arrangements have been made with the owners. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, both within and outside the property. Pets are not allowed on furniture or carpet or upstairs at any time. Any evidence of pets on the furniture may incur extra cleaning fees.
Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant’s personal property.
Smoking is not permitted inside the house or on the golf green. All butts must be removed if smokers are outside.
Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner.
