We are located in the heart of the legal precinct in the Melbourne CBD area. Our location is second to none in accessibility and safety. There are free tram stops right at the building entrance, train stations one block away, and numerous lanes, restaurants and cafes well within walking distance of our apartment.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests will have access to 2 well-appointed bedrooms, one with queen size bed and one with a double-size bed. Both bedrooms have closets to store clothing and belongings. One of the bedrooms also has a work-space desk. The apartment also has:

1. Bathroom - amenities (including body wash and shampoo) will be fully provided for all guests 

2. Living room with sofa, 55' HD TV with Netflix

3. Wifi for internet access

4. Kitchen with stovetop, fridge and freezer

6. Balcony with astroturf (smoking only permitted on balcony with all windows/sliding doors shut tight)

1. No smoking in the apartment is allowed. Smoking is allowed on the balcony with the balcony doors closed.

2. Please adhere to a respectable level of cleanliness. Should you wish to use the kitchen, please wash up after yourselves. The carpet should be kept clean at all times. 

3. Please treat the furniture/items in the apartment with utmost care. Guests will be held liable for any damage/missing items, accidental or otherwise.

4. In all other regards, please treat our apartment as you would for your own house. Costs for any damages to the apartment made by guests, superficial or otherwise, will be passed on to those responsible.  

You will be provided a checkin sheet with additional details upon check- in.

Being in the heart of the CBD and legal precinct, our location not only grants full security (with the Supreme Court, Magistrate's Court, County Court and Family Court all literally opposite the road), but also convenient access to many entertainment, restaurant and laneway venues, including but not limited to:

All these locations and more (with the exception of South Yarra) are well within walking distance of The Williams. You will never have to worry about paying expensive taxi fares to get to these places.

TRANSPORT 

We are located a stone's throw away from Flagstaff Train Station, which operates on all weekdays. From Flagstaff, common tourist destinations such as St Kilda beach, Brighton Beach and South Yarra are readily accessible (please do not hesitate to ask us for further directions if necessary). Taxis are also readily available along the street entrance of the building.

Trams run along both William Street (right at the entrance of the apartment) and along Bourke Street (1 block down from the apartment). All trams are free of charge within the CBD area, thus making it even more convenient to access the rest of the CBD if you don't want to walk.

Checkin

Standard check-in time is 1:00pm but times may vary for particular bookings and you should confirm the check-in time with your hosts prior to your scheduled check-in day.

If you wish to guarantee your ability to check-in prior to 1:00pm you may choose to book an additional nights stay and pay the applicable rate for that additional night.

Late Check-out

If you wish to check-out later than the standard check-out time you must obtain approval from us, your hosts at least 5 days prior to your scheduled check-out time.

Security Deposits

Please note that credit card authorisation for a security deposit of $200 is required  when you made payment for this listing.

This security deposit may be used to cover incidental items including but not limited to telephone charges, security bond or deposit for any breakages or damage incurred during your stay or cleaning charges in excess of the normal level of cleaning.
Should there be a need for a claim on your security deposit, we will notify via message within 7 business days of your check- out date.

Travel Insurance
We, your hosts strongly recommend that at the time of booking you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover items including but not limited to: loss of booking amount through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money and medical expenses.

Unaccompanied Minors
All guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult such as a parent, step-parent, guardian or other adult who has parental rights and responsibilities for the under 18 year old guest.

TRANSPORT FROM AIRPORT TO OUR LOCATION

1. Taxi/Uber - this will cost about AUD$55-60 for a one way trip to our apartment, with Uber costing slightly more (Uber used to be cheaper but they recently changed all airport pickups to UberBlacks and removed the UberX option so prices are higher now). This is probably the fastest and most direct way to reach our apartment, and travel time is approximately 25 minutes.

2. Skybus - when you reach the international airport, look out for signs directing you to the Skybus terminal. You will be able to purchase tickets from the terminal for this shuttle, which brings passengers from the airport directly to Southern Cross Station in the city. From Southern Cross Station, our apartment is just 2 blocks uphill, about a 7 minute walk away. A one way ticket costs about AUD$18, and travel time from the airport to Southern Cross station is also about 25 minutes. 

3. Starbus - if you search for "Starbus Melbourne Airport Shuttle" on the internet, you can find the website for the Starbus, which is much like the Skybus, except that the bus is able to drop you off directly at our apartment. You will also have to book tickets in advance. Simply head to the Starbus website and select "Melbourne CBD" under "please click on your destination below". Follow the steps and you will be directed to a booking page where you have to fill up details. Under "Destination Hotel or Address", select the option "Not Listed See Address Below", and enter our address:

A return trip is about AUD$30 and is slightly cheaper than the Skybus, with the only issue being that you have to book these tickets online in advance. If you are looking for the cheapest and most convenient way to get to our apartment, we highly suggest booking tickets for the Starbus. Travel time is slightly longer as the bus drops off other passengers at different locations within the CBD.
