Booking with 65 Main constitutes acceptance of terms and conditions as detailed below:
Booking confirmation may be issued via phone, text or online.
Room booking: 1 – 3 bedrooms in guest house environment, guests can enjoy shared use of the billiard room, dining room, library, and tea and coffee – NO USE of cooking facilities.
Whole House booking: 4 -5 bedrooms exclusive use of guesthouse, guests can enjoy use of billiard room, dining room, library, kitchen, fridge, dishwasher, tea and coffee. BBQ if requested in advance.
All reservations are secured with a 50 – 100% deposit on a credit card with balance being payable 7 days prior to arrival date for room only bookings, 30 days prior to arrival date for whole house bookings. We accept Visa and Mastercard, a 3% bank fee applies. Online deposit may be available by arrangement.
BOND – WHOLE HOUSE
A $500 bond is required to secure the reservation. The bond will be refunded if the property is left clean and tidy, bins emptied, dishes rinsed and placed in the dishwasher, all keys returned, property secured at all times, furniture left where originally found and there is no damage/stains to property or contents.
Room only: required 7 days prior to arrival. Please note there are no cooking facilities included in room only bookings.
Whole House: required 30 days prior to arrival.
Room Only Booking: You can change your booked dates up to 15 days prior to arrival. A $25 administrative charge will apply. 14 days or less prior to your arrival date the cancellation policy will apply.
CANCELLATIONS - ROOM ONLY BOOKINGS
Cancellations more than 14 days prior to your arrival date: Deposit refunded minus $100 cancellation fee.
Cancellation 8 – 14 days prior to arrival date: Forfeit of any monies received.
Please note that in all instances we will endeavour to rebook your cancelled dates – if it is possible to rebook your dates a $50 fee will apply. The rebooked dates would be fully non-cancellable.
Please note that Gift Vouchers are non-refundable.
CANCELLATIONS – WHOLE HOUSE BOOKINGS
A no cancellation policy applies to whole house bookings. All monies received will be forfeited.
65 Main reserves the right to charge your credit card with any items that have been removed from the property, or if any damage occurs to the property. Please note that if special cleaning is required to a room (that is, due to staining carpet or the like) an additional charge may be applied of at least $100.
Please note that 65 Main is non-smoking inside – cigarette disposal containers are supplied outside. Smoking inside the property is not permitted and additional cleaning charges apply if this occurs. If you do not agree with any of these charges please contact us as soon as possible.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY, ACCEPTABLE USE AND OTHER TERMS
65 Main caters for a maximum of 2 persons in all rooms unless arrangements have been made with management prior to stay. On advance request fold-away beds may be supplied at an additional cost. Please note that if more than 2 persons are found to be staying in any room 65 Main reserves the right to apply an additional booking charge of $100 per night.
Please note that 65 Main expressly prohibits ‘parties’ in rooms for the comfort of all guests.
Guests are not permitted to invite third parties onto the premises or grounds of 65 Main without prior approval in writing by management.
In-house massage or similar therapies are not permitted.
The use of cookers / camping stoves are not permitted inside or outside 65 Main for safety reasons.
Please note that pets may not be brought onto the property for the safety and comfort of all guests.
Any breach of acceptable use and other terms will incur charges.
Please note 65 Main accepts no liability for damages or losses to personal property.
CANCELLATION BY 65 Main
65 Main reserves the right to cancel your booking in the unlikely event that it is deemed to be in your best interests. This would include extreme bushfire risk, an extended power or gas outage or damage to your booked accommodation due to storms or other means. In this instance you will be given as much notice as feasibly possible and be provided assistance in securing alternative accommodation. You will be refunded in full any deposits already paid and receive a 10% discount on your next booking at 65 Main.
The crew at 65 Main will endeavour to do whatever possible to make your stay enjoyable. It is up to YOU to communicate your needs. Please, if you have any specific expectations – bedding, food, or experience requirements – please make this clear at the time of enquiry/booking in advance of your stay so that we have sufficient time to cater to your desires.
Whole house booking:
-Guest booking is for exclusive use of house with internal living areas/decks.
-Carpark/external grounds may be accessed by management.
- No staff will enter the house without your invitation unless it is necessary for maintenance/operational functions
Room Only booking:
-No staff will enter your room without your invitation unless it is necessary for maintenance/operational functions
NARLA the friendly 14 year old golden retriever may roam the external grounds.
