How to get here:

Please note that we are in Glenfern Ave not Glenfern Road.

There is a mistake in the Melways index but you will find us on Map 270 F11, drive through the township stay on the Maroondah Highway, pass the hospital and turn right into Old Fernshaw Road and left into Glenfern Ave.

We also have a problem with Google Maps, Where Is and Tom Tom which means most GPS's will have you arrive in Glenfern Road.

The pampering service of the hosts and their warm hospitality was super.  The property itself has a distinctively Australian country/colonial charm.

Monica and Shane via email

Just wanted to let you know of the fabulous time we had at your B&B on Saturday night.

The homestead was beautiful and we especially enjoyed all those little touches you did to make the stay so enjoyable;  the sweets all around and chocolates and card in our room,  the superior toiletries and amenities with your logo and in tissue paper in the bathroom, the multitudes of extra soft pillows on the bed, the afternoon tea provided even though we arrived back well after afternoon tea, the freshly squeezed orange juice and homemade muffins and bread for breakfast, the carafe of port and crystal glasses in our room, the crotchet rugs on the verandah, your offer to pick us up if it rained after dinner, allowing us to feed the birds, and your friendliness and welcoming conversation throughout our stay.

As I mentioned, prior to my opening own business, I was an Executive Housekeeper and Rooms Division Manager in five star hotels in Melbourne, for 15 years, and in Knightsbridge, London.  You have managed to achieve what these hotels can only strive for every day.

You are true advocates of what a B&B should be.  I'm sure I speak for Shane too when I say thank you for a memorable weekend.

"What a heavenly treat to stay in such an adorable home - grand yet homely, so peaceful with great company. Everything was perfect - the special touches appreciated. We had a very wonderful 8th wedding anniversary and will be back again. Thankyou both so much for making our stay so indulgent - keep up the awesome work!"
