Hender's Corner is a recently refurbished apartment suitable for a family or two couples.

One bedroom has a queen size and a single bed, while the other has a double bed and a single bed.

The apartment has two bathrooms–one main bathroom and an ensuite off the second bedroom.

The main family room has a divan bed/couch which may also be used as an extra bed. There is a well equipped family-sized kitchen, a comfortable lounge area, television and DVD player, and an office nook ready for your laptop, a private laundry with automatic washer and dryer and off-street parking.

Just a three minutes walk from Forest Hill Chase Shopping Centre, with Cinemas, Bowling Alley, Bus Service, Specialty Shops and Restaurants.

Hender's Corner is available for a minimum stay of one week for up to six people, or for four weeks (28 nights) for a discount rate.

Payment and Cancellation Policy:
Payment of deposit or total fee for your booking indicates acceptance of the Terms and Conditions stated in 
this agreement.  

20% non-refundable deposit required at time of booking.  Full payment must be received at least 4 weeks 
prior to arrival.  Bookings made within 4 weeks of your arrival date must be paid in full at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy:
4 week's notice...full refund less deposit; 3 week's notice...75% refund less deposit; 2 week's notice...50% refund less deposit; 1 week's notice...25% refund; less than 1 refund.

Payment Methods: 
1. Direct debit to WESTPAC account  (details given once booking is accepted)

2. Cash payment and bond payment on arrival for late bookings only. 
3. Credit Card:   VISA   or    MASTERCARD only.  A 3% surcharge is due.
4. Cheque which must be cleared 2 weeks before arrival and cash or credit card bond required on arrival.
By making payment of the total fee for the time booked, you have exclusive use of the apartment, based on the Terms and Conditions, but not possession.

Security Bond/deposit:
On arrival, a Security Bond in the form of a signed Credit Card voucher or a cash bond of $500 is required as an insurance against loss or damage to the apartment.  This bond is additional to the cost of reservation and will be reimbursed on inspection of the apartment provided that the premises are left clean, tidy and undamaged. 
If keys are lost or not returned, $75 will be deducted to cover replacement of the barrel of the lock and keys.  Keys will not be issued until the security bond is processed.

Persons in occupancy:
The number of persons staying must be that agreed upon on booking. No extra persons should stay on any occasion without arrangement with Chanleigh staff. The maximum number of persons to stay in each unit is stated clearly on advertising material.

Unless there are special circumstances which must be discussed with the owner/managers before booking, there are no animals or pets allowed on the Chanleigh premises. Occasionally there are special needs (Guide dogs etc.) and we have to make special preparations to accommodate these special needs. Damage and souvenirs:
We reserve the right to charge the guest's credit card for replacement of any carelessly or wilfully damaged item or any missing items.  Please refrain from using bleach or hair dye or other items which may stain and discolour carpets or benches. Use of naked flames, matches, candles etc. is forbidden in these units. 
Smoking is allowed outside on the decking but please ensure doors and windows are closed during smoking.
We will not require reimbursement for wear and tear and minor accidental damage, but cost of making good breakages or damage to property, garden or contents will be charged to your credit card or security bond.

Broadband Internet:
Access to our Wireless Broadband internet is a free service and is available for most recent computers if they have been bought or configured in Australia. It is available for access to Email only and must not be used for downloading films or large files.  If you cannot access the system after we have supplied you with the log-in and password, we cannot provide any technical help and will not be held responsible for inability to access the internet.  Use of more than 30 minutes per day will be charged at $5 per 30 minutes. Most computers will automatically detect and configure the correct settings. For those that don't, here are the settings for encryption on our network for you to set manually, management cannot legally touch your equipment.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties in relation to the provision of services and your use our internet. You hereby release us from any liability for any indirect, incidental, special and/or other consequential damage or loss of profits which result from your use of the property and/or services.
Rightful use of Appliances and Utilities:
Reasonable use of electricity is included in your rates, however, failure to switch off appliances when leaving 
the unit, will require a further charge to your credit card or bond. The Australian Government requires that 
we conserve our limited energy resources.

Behavioural Code and Noise levels:
Any nuisance behaviour or abuse, verbal or otherwise or illegal activity will not be tolerated and we will not hesitate to contact the police if necessary. We reserve the right to terminate the booking of guests who display unreasonable abusive behaviour and to remove persons who do not adhere to this code of behaviour and no refund will be given.
Chanleigh Apartments are situated in a residential area. Please see that noise level is inaudible to neighbouring properties after 10pm.  If the noise in an adjacent apartment is disturbing, (TV too loud etc.) please contact that person yourself and ask them to lower their noise level. The management cannot be responsible for ensuring that all guests are quiet. In fairness to all, we ask guests returning during the night or leaving early, 
to keep noise to a minimum.

Emergencies and Power Failure:
If the power in your unit switches off, an appliance may be faulty. Please call the management between 2pm and 10pm, and try not to disturb management at other times unless there is an emergency.

Weekly Service:
We ask that you look after the apartment as you would your own home. Our weekly service of the apartment is done by arrangement and includes: vacuuming of unit, replacement of sheets and towels, cleaning of bathroom only. If you wish to do this yourself, please let us know and we will not disturb you. 

Before Vacating:
Please leave the apartment as clean and tidy as you found it. Please remove sheets and pillow cases from beds and put all linen and used towels and bathmats in the plastic laundry bin provided. 
Check to see that all rubbish and food stuffs have been removed from the apartment and that the dishes, refrigerator, hotplates, ovens and other cooking appliances are clean and tidy.

Termination of Occupation and Disclaimer:
Your occupation of the property may be terminated without notice if you breach any of these terms and conditions or in the event that any amount due is not paid. You will be liable for any costs we incur to evict you from the property in the event that you fail to leave when required by these terms and conditions. We are not responsible for failure or interruption of power or services to the property for reasons beyond our control.

Chanleight apartments are situated in a leafy garden environment just a three minute walk from vibrant Forest Hill Chase Shopping Centre with its International Food Court, restaurants and cofee shops, cinemas, bowling complex, supermarkets, boutiques and play centre. 

Access to Melbourne CBD is easy, via freeway or public transport. The bus leaves from FH Chase for the city and a variety of other destinations.
