Ripparoo is regarded as one of Falls Creek's most popular lodges. We are not contemporary or luxurious, but we do offer very friendly, warm and inviting hospitality with quite likely the best food you are going to find anywhere in Falls Creek.
Our 18 room lodge is in a prime ski-in ski-out setting and offers breathtaking views of the Bogong Ranges. Only 200ms from both Falls Express Chairlift & Gully Chair Lift makes it close enough to ski 'home' for lunch.
Ripparoo has a casual homeliness but with an attention to detail that will surprise you! All guest rooms at Ripparoo have ensuites and central heating. Actil linen and bath towels are supplied. Room configurations vary to accommodate 1-6 occupants.
Play pool in our recreational mezzanine - or pop into our TV room and choose from the complimentary DVD library. Also available is free Foxtel. Throughout the lodge enjoy free wireless internet.
Our guest laundry provides a coin slot washing machine & tumbler dryer. Laundry detergent, iron & ironing board are also all available with our compliments.
Your daily tariff includes a continental buffet breakfast,(a hearty cooked breakfast & afternoon tea during shoulder and high season), and a gourmet three course dinner (EXCEPT FRIDAY NIGHT) Our BYO restaurant is exclusive to house guests, though space permitting, you may be able to invite friends for dinner. Our chef, Alistair Matthews, is very happy to accommodate special dietary requirements - please notify in advance of arrival. We provide a sandwich press, microwave and toaster at lunchtime, to enable you to easily prepare your own lunch at the Lodge. Our guest fridges provide space for lunch items and drinks, though you're always welcome to create your own igloo esky on the balcony, snow permitting :)
Children (3 -14yrs) are served dinner at the special earlier sitting of 6pm - all healthy, home-cooked fare. Even the most resistant appetites have been conquered. Should your child wish to join you for the adult dinner, student rates will apply.
24 hour tea (including herbal) and coffee (including plunge, decaf) are available at the servery.
