Hello… Welcome to Clambake!
When you leave just, please dont strip the beds, just leave all the linen on the beds, we'll take care of it!
Here are some tips & info to help make your stay fabulous!
Setting up - The outdoor armchairs and daybed have cushions and a mattress & cushions in the second bedroom.
Two hammocks are in the yellow tub at the front door, they hang on the posts on the front patio, to the right and left of the entrance. (It is lovely lying out there watching the birds)
The little round table is perfect for the front porch.
There is an umbrella for the outdoor dining table in the back shed near the clothesline.
The orange cushions at the back door belong to the outdoor dining table.
Cushions for the outside furniture is stored inside, please return them inside at the end of your stay - if it looks like rain best to bring them inside:)
We have a large kooky record collection, feel free to listen - please return records after use and switch off the amp.
Rubbish collection is on Mondays - please put out the bins at the end of your stay on the footpath right up against the road, otherwise the Garbos won't collect it!
You welcome to use the fire place, some wood is out the back.
Air conditioner remote is on the wall on the left as you enter the front door.
Kitchen - We have a little herb garden out the back to the right, near the clothesline, please feel free to add to your cooking
There are many spices in the cupboard above the stove for cooking.
The kitchen has lots of knick-knacks for all sorts of cooking, cake making, pasta making, and also has waffle maker, a toasted sandwich maker, a blender, a handheld whizzer, and a lettuce spinner.
There is also plastic cups and plates for picnics.
Out doors - Out in the back shed there are two soft beginner surfboards if you are keen to surf. (Smiths beach; near the grand prix track; usually has nice beginner waves)
We use Gas bottles, no other way on the island, if you run out of gas or there is no hot water, please just go outside and and turn the nob on the gas bottle and this will switch it over to the full one.
Please clean the BBQ when you leave - spare Gas bottles in the wood area. The BBQ igniter is on the left side, silver button.
The washing machine is easy to use, but you will need to turn on the water. (Please turn off the taps before you leave as sometimes it decides to leak for a reason unknown.)
Bins go out on Sunday night. The recycling bin is picked up every week.
They need to sit at the gutter or they won’t empty them ☹.
