SWEEPING OCEAN VIEWS along the Penninsula towards Point Nepean and nestled amongst the resort bushland at Cape Schanck is this wonderful property with lovely deck area for outside lounging and entertaining.

This is a luxury, split level villa designed by the renowned architect Daryl Jackson in the early 90’s. The upper level features a fully appointed kitchen, lounge, separate dining room and balcony, all with bushland and ocean views. The lower level has a Queen Master bedroom with ensuite, 2nd bedroom with 2 singles (can be made up as a King size bed) with nearby laundry/toilet/bathroom. All linen and towels are provided. Each area has independent electric heating and ceiling fans while the upper level a cosy wood heater, ceiling fan and a split system heater/air-conditioner. A Webber barbecue is available for use on the upper deck.

This apartment offers everything you require for a delightful holiday experience and has a unique design which features a mix of contemporary and mid-century designed furniture. It is very peaceful and private. Fantastic for a weekend of high quality golf, or an extended beach and golf holiday for the whole family. Its location - midway between bustling Rosebud and the charming village of Flinders - makes is ideally suited for one or two couples wishing to enjoy the many attractions of the Mornington Peninsula such as bathing at the Peninsula Hot Springs, shopping in Sorrento and winery visits in Red Hill.

The apartment is located right on the RACV Cape Schanck Resort golf course, backing on to the 18th fairway. As this is an RACV resort, very attractive green fee discounts are available for RACV members, so be sure to bring your membership card with you. There are many other golf courses, including the National Golf Course, Moonah Links, Flinders Golf Club, the Dunes and St Andrews located within an easy driving distance from this holiday location. Further afield – a drive of approximately 15 to 20 minutes the golf courses of Sorrento and Portsea can be accessed. The RACV Clubhouse is a leisurely 5 minute stroll away if you feel like a coffee and cake and/or restaurant meal.

In the surrounding area are many acclaimed wineries, several with fine dining and bistro facilities, along with tasting and cellar door sales. For the more energetic, there is access to horse riding facilities, bay beaches, surfing and an extensive variety of bushwalking tracks. There are many more attractions to be found in the nearby area and maps and useful brochures can be found in the folder provided in the apartment.

Please note we do not accept schoolies and the apartment is not suitable for pets. Onsite parking is available for two cars.

Upon departure we kindly request that the property is left neat and tidy and that you have:

 Washed and put away all dishes or stacked the dishwasher and turned it on

 Placed all used towels in the bathroom & strip the sheets / pillow cases off beds

 Outdoor area clear of rubbish, BBQ cleaned and cover on

 All heating/cooling & lights switched off and lock property

 Put all rubbish in the skip bins either in the underground car park or at the end of the tunnel (ground level). 

 Please report any damages or breakages to reception on the above number

We do ask for these things to be done and the property to be left secure no later than 10am to avoid additional charges.

We can confirm a late check out of 12pm for an additional $50.00 or $100.00 for a 3pm departure, subject to availability.

Every effort is made to accommodate you in the property originally requested at time of booking. This, however, is subject to change without notice and may be due to the property no longer being offered for short stay rentals, the extension of a previous guest stay or the property has been sold. In such case, every effort will be made to relocate you to a similar property of equalvent value and size, otherwise a full refund will be issued.

PAYMENT

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. 

Tariff is per night unless otherwise indicated. Packages are per person unless otherwise indicated. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST.

ACCIDENTS & DAMAGE 

Regrettably accidents do happen and as such we require a $500.00 bond against your credit card/cheque to be released at the end of your stay, subject to satisfactory condition of the property. Please report all breakages and damage to the accommodation and its contents to  Retreats Victoria and payment arrangements (if necessary) made prior to departure.  For all Bond claims against you (the guest) Retreats Victoria will charge a 20% or $50.00 Administration fee (whichever is greater).

As with any tenancy agreement (REIV) the property must be left with house and property in the state it was found in. Should you notice any property/item damage on your arrival, please notify our office immediately.

We have supplied for your convenience quality Linen & Towels. Please do not take them with you! As these are white, please avoid using them to remove make-up or fake tan. Replacement charges will be taken from your Bond should these items be found to be unfit for guest usage as a result of staining.

Great care has been taken in selecting our furniture and house effects. It is there for your enjoyment. Please do not remove any items from the house or move furniture around within the property. Additional charges may apply should furniture need to be returned to its orignal position.

Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of accommodation keys. You will be liable for damage caused when doors have to be forced open owing to the key being lost and also cost of replacement keys and locks. Only one set of keys is supplied for your stay, please contact our offie to arrange additional keys.

No responsibility is taken for the tenants personal property left on the premises; however we will make every attempt to contact you should items be left behind. Cost of returning items will be at your expense. 

NO PARTY POLICY

Retreats Victoria has a very strict No Party policy. Any behaviour deemed to be disturbing the peace will result in instant eviction from the property and any additional costs incurred as a result of this process will be taken from the Bond.

The number of occupants must not exceed the original number as stated when the booking was confirmed. Guest numbers above the number confirmed at time of booking will be evicted from the property immediately and any additional costs incurred as a result of this process will be taken from the Bond.

For all 'Couples Rate' Accommodation Specials, Guests are entitled the use of 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, 1 toilet, 1 living area. A full tariff will be charged in the event that more than the stated has been used.  

Premises must be left clean and tidy and ready for immediate occupation by the next guest. Any additional cleaning required above our ‘standard cleaning hours’* will be charged to the guest from the Bond.

Extra fees will be charged for the removal of excess rubbish left at the property.

Standard cleaning times are 2 Bedroom = 2 hours, 3 Bedroom = 3 hours, 4 Bedroom = 4 hours.

CANCELLATIONS

We understand that under certain circumstances you may need to change your plans. Please be aware that the following cancellation fees do apply.

1. A booking cancelled 21 days or more before commencement of booking incurs a 20% of total booking cancellation fee.*

2. A booking cancelled 7 – 21 days before commencement incurs a 50% of total booking cancellation fee. If a replacement booking is found a cancellation fee of 20% applies.

3. A booking cancelled less than 7 days before commencement - (inc. non arrival), full payment of booking will be retained.*

Retreats Victoria as a Booking Agent accepts guest bookings in good faith and represent the property owners.  We are not responsible for any actions undertaken by owners of the properties that are beyond out control, including:

a)   the property is sold

b)   the property is altered in any way

c)   the property is withdraw from letting

d)   in any of the above or other circumstances, every reasonable endeavour will be made to find alternative accommodation.
