Wake to the most amazing sunrises - viewed without even getting out of bed! Watch the comings and goings of this busy little port from our top deck. Walk into town for great shopping, cafes and restaurants....

St Helens is the Game Fishing Capital of Tasmania and also the gateway to the world renowned Bay of Fires.

If you have never visited the area before rest assured there is much to do here and many suprises to be had -
Beachwalking, Bushwalking, Surfing, Swimming, Fishing and of course as much relaxing as you need.

For those wanting to experience Game Fishing we are happy to put you in contact with a number of operators who offer people of all ages a fishing experience not to be missed.

The Bay of Fires starts just 10kms from St Helens and offers numerous unspoilt, white sandy beaches with crystal clear water and bays to explore and be left in awe of. And on the way home why not stop at one of the Oyster farms to get the freshest Oysters on earth.

Some of the best dining experiences Tasmania has to offer are all within 10kms of St Helens Vista. And this isn't just our opinion.

Margots which specialises in modern cuisine with a very French flavour received rave reviews on Radio National. The reviewers only lament was that there weren't many good places to stay in St Helens. We were still renovating when they visited town however we are proud to say that we offer exactly the kind of accommodation that would have impressed them.

Latris & Ripples are also within walking distance - both overlooking Georges Bay offer innovative menus which will satisfy the most discerning diner with local seafood being featured on both menus

Comfortable, welcoming, well equipped. Home away from home, hated to leave. Best Stayz house we have used by far. Easy to find, great views, quiet and relaxing. We couldn't have asked frr better.5/5 by ,
We spent two lovely nghts at St Helens Viste. The expanse of the whole house, the comfortable facilities, great views and the gererosity of provisions made for a great stay. While is is self catering, there was all the things youneed in abundance for a great stay. We found ourselves wihing we could have stayed longer. Thanks Sharon and Rob for a great start to our holiday. Russell & Eileen5/5 by ,
We only stayed overnight, but were very happy with the facilities. Great view from the top deck!5/5 by ,
Peaceful, sea-views from bedroom, spacious and all facilities needed5/5 by ,
The property exceeded our expectations in terms of space and quality.5/5 by ,
Good location, nice views.Holiday makers would need to be fit and active as the shower is upstairs and in a deep spa bath.3/5 by ,
Good kitchen facilities, good barbeque, nice large living area. The garden was crying out for attention, in particular the grass was about knee high. Given this was the Easter period and there was plenty of advance notice of our stay,a quick trim would have enhanced our first impressions. In a house which accommodates 6, and for which we paid $260 a night for the four of us, a second bathroom would have been nice.(The advert states 2 bathrooms but the downstairs shower has never been finished i.e. not even a shower head, proper flooring, fan etc.)The advert should have mentioned that the house was 2 storey so that older travellers can take that into account.2/5 by , TASMANIA
