Avalon City Retreat sits on the roof of an office building. During the day and sometimes at night we have a building full of lovely tenants who are working. We ask you to be respectful of folks at work when you are entering and leaving the building, as if you were working all night to prepare for a big case listening to the roaring laughter of people having a really good time is probably going to be disturbing. So we ask you to hold on to the funny jokes until you are on the rooftop, then only the birds can hear you.
Avalon City Retreat provides for up to a maximum of 4 overnight guests in two king size beds. Should you wish to invite a small number of day time visitors (maximum of 6 extra as above this number attracts a function fee) please check first with your host. Any of your guests are required to be met in the foyer and escorted up to the Retreat so they don’t get lost in the building
Access to the Retreat is via a lift to the seventh floor then 24 steps to the covered walkway. Disabled access is not available. If you experience any mobility issues then the Retreat may also not be suitable for you.
It is very important that you know that without the keys you can not get back into the Retreat, so if you go out please remember to take them with you as we don’t have reception on site. If you do lose the keys and require security to come and let you back in then they charge us a $50.00 call out fee and we will pass that charge on to you.
Access to other floors, other than the foyer, lower ground, car park and the rooftop is strictly prohibited and a breech will result in immediate removal of all occupants from the premises. Avalon City Retreat sits atop a commercial office building and is patrolled by security guards for the security of all tenants.
We are happy to accommodate guests over the age of 12.
The Retreat is a smoke free environment and smoking is not allowed at the property or within 10m of any of the buildings access points.
Onsite parking is restricted to the 2 specific signposted, undercover car parking spaces and strictly available to paying guests only. On street parking is available for the use of your visitors.
There is no access to the area beyond the Omnipod or its decks.
All bookings include breakfast provisions.
50% deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance of your booking will be taken on the day you are due to arrive. Please ensure you have provided us with a credit card for this process. Any minibar charges will be paid with your host on checkout.
Any cancellations given outside 7 days from time of check in will attract a $100.00 administrative fee. As we would naturally prefer you to stay with us, should you wish to postpone instead of cancel your stay, we will permit you to transfer your deposit booking to another time within 12 months and we will provide you a Gift Voucher for the balance with no deduction of the administrative fee. Any cancellations or postponements with less than 7 days’ notice will result in the deposit being forfeited. Non arrivals attract a full tariff being charged.
