This private property is on a large leafy block, north of Binalong Bay and adjoining the Bay of Fires Coastal Reserve. It is surrounded by beautiful, indigenous native vegetation providing an ideal habitat for many species of birds and animals, especially the rare yellow-tailed black cockatoo and sea eagles.
The house is light, sunny and warm throughout the year with uninterrupted northern sun during the day. It is very well set up for holidays or extended stays with quality fittings, a very well equipped kitchen complete with espresso machine, sharp knives and everything a serious cook might need. There is a leather modular setting with rugs and cushions perfect for curling up on in front of the fire or just admiring the panoramic views to the north. There are 2 wood combustion heaters, a modern Scandinavian one upstairs with glass doors and another downstairs which keep the house warm and comfortable in all seasons.
From a large, sunny, upstairs deck complete with a Weber Q barbecue and outdoor dining setting there are extensive views to the north and east of the Bay of Fires Coastal Reserve and Pacific Ocean.
Jeanneret Beach is a generally safe, beautiful swimming and snorkelling beach about 2 minutes walk away or the surf beaches directly in front of the house are accessed by a path through the coastal reserve.
The house is a 5 minute drive or a 35 minute walk along the beach from Binalong Bay with its bistro/restaurant which is open all day from breakfast to dinner.
Of the two bedrooms upstairs one has a very comfortable queen size bed, another has a very good double bed. Bathroom and toilet facilities are downstairs. Downstairs there is a bunk room and a small bedroom containing 2 single beds and an open space where there is a table tennis table.
