Bruny Ocean Cottage is a fully equipped three bedroom cottage that can sleep a number of people. Two bedrooms have double beds with electric blankets and the third is a bunk room. Towels, linen, disposable slippers and beach towels are provided.
Pets are not allowed.

It is located adjacent to the beautiful white sands of Adventure Bay Beach on Bruny Island, Adventure Bay is recognized as the holiday hub of the island with its clean white beaches, great fishing and is internationally known for its proliferation of bird life.
There is a well stocked local store, great café, public tennis court, bowls club and the renowned Bligh Museum of Pacific History. Bicycles are provided at no extra charge to enable you to explore Adventure Bay or roads leading to nearby rain forests.
Nearby South Bruny National Park has some great walks to suit all, short or long,remains of early whaling stations are also still visible along the foreshore on some walks. Adventure Bay is also the starting point for the acclaimed Pennicott Eco Wilderness Tours.
Bruny Island and especially Adventure Bay were visited by many early European explorers notably Captains Cook and Bligh. The Bligh Museum is a good source of information on them and other early explorers. The Bruny History Room at Alonnah which is open seven days is highly recommended and gives a great insight into the early history of the island including whaling agriculture mining and forestry as well as the day to day lives of early Bruny settlers.
Adventure Bay is home to the famous albino (white) wallabies which are commonly seen,look into the trees and you may spot the endangered 40 spotted pardalote.
Look out to the sea to glimpse dolphins, seals, sea eagles, and even whales in season.
Travelling around the island you may like to make a night visit to the penguin rookery at the neck (hosted during summer) . A trip to the convict built Bruny Island Lighthouse at Cape Bruny with its spectacular views should not be missed and is typical of the amazing scenery you find where ever you travel on the island.
The Chocolate Factory near the Adventure Bay turnoff, Bruny Island Cheeses and Get Shucked Oysters at Great Bay, Bruny Island Premium Wines at Lunawanna, the Bruny Berry Farm at Adventure Bay are great examples of the wonderful fresh food and produce
available to you on your Bruny holiday.
Bruny Ocean Cottage is a local council approved holiday accommodation premises that meets all council requirements including all current fire safety standards.
