  • When you book this space the entire property with secure rear yard is just for you.
  • This is rough cast solid brick semi detached building built in the 1930's. 
  • There are three bedrooms in the Buena Vista property.
  • The first is to the left off the entry foyer. It is a good sized room with a queen sized bed and a second door with access to the sun room and toilet.
  • To the right of the entry foyer is the living room with large windows and sea views.
  • Off the living room there are two more bedrooms: the master with king sized bed and another bedroom with a queen bed and two singles.
  • Each bedroom has its own wash stand and sink.
  • The kitchen is in the centre of the house. It has modern appliances, including a clothes washing machine, everything you might need to cook up a storm and plenty of room to prepare. The kitchen has a servery window that looks over the sun room.
  • There is a big flat screen tv with foxtel and large comfortable lounge area in the L shaped sun room.  A small table and two chairs, a clothes dryer and extra toilet are to the side next to the back door.
  • Off the sun room is one full bathroom with rain shower, toilet and vanity.
  • The whole house has reverse cycle ducted air conditioning.
  • The backyard is paved and has a table and chairs for dining
  • The front porch features see through blinds for all weather protection and an outdoor lounge so that you can sit and watch the sea or dine alfresco style.

Two vehicles can be parked behind each other in the driveway of this property.

Victor Harbor is about an hour and a half drive from Adelaide Airport.

Victor Harbor is a coastal town in South Australia. Since the late 1800's Victor Harbor has been a popular holiday destination for families, interstate and international visitors. Victor Harbor is a seaside location with lots to offer!

From the waterfront, horse-drawn trams cross the causeway to Granite Island, home to a wild penguin colony. Steam locomotives pull the Cockle Train to nearby Goolwa, a gateway to the wetlands of the Murray River Mouth. Offshore, southern right whales frequent the waters of Encounter Bay. The Heysen Trail runs across the Fleurieu Peninsula to Cape Jervis.

Granite Island is situated in the Encounter Marine Park, spot dolphins, seals and marine life. From May to November you may even see a Southern Right Whale!

Buena Vista is a three bedroom old style holiday house close to all amenities; Walking distance to pubs and restaurants and the heart of central Victor Harbor.
If you need a taxi to venture further afield, it is best to book in advance to avoid disappointment

House rules

Linen hire for two beds (1king,  and 1 queen)  is included in the price and is provided by the local laundry and linen hire service. If you need more linen, let us know and we can organise for you in advance of your arrival.
While there are outdoor tables and chairs, there is no dedicated dining area for large groups inside the house.

Please assist us by undertaking the following on the day of departure.

  1. Wash, dry and put away all dishes
  2. Ensure stove, refrigerator and microwave are clean inside and out
  3. Remove rubbish from all rooms. Please place all rubbish including opened foodstuffs in the council bins and place bins on front upon departure.
  4. Place used linen and towels in bathroom
  5. Switch of  Heaters/ Air Con/ fans, appliances and lights before you leave.
  6. If outdoor blinds are lowered during your stay they must be secured and tightened to avoid damage. All blinds to be raised on departure. 
  7. Lock all doors and close windows.
  8. Return your key to the locked box. Check out by 11am.

Note: Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.

The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.

Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email.  Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance and security deposit will be forfeited.

This apartment is strictly non smoking. Costs associated with cleaning and reinstatement as a result of smoking inside will be borne by the guest. Strata rules dictate that smoking is not allowed on the stairs and walkways of the complex.

Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments.

Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the guests’ responsibility during their stay.

Departure - the property should be left as taken on arrival. Excess cleaning costs will be on-charged from security deposit. Please see next page for departure instructions.

Check-out time is 11.00am by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests.

Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of security deposit.

Any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared .etc.  will be borne by the guest.

Linen is supplied by the owner in a clean and stain-free condition. Where normal laundering does not remove staining from lack of care, excess cleaning and/or replacement cost may be on charged.

Pets are not allowed unless specific arrangements have been made in writing with the owner.
