Moor your boat to the floating pontoon

Situated on the River Murray in the quiet town of Tailem Bend, this fully renovated 1920s stone home offers the perfect holiday destination for families or large groups.

With sleeping for 8 in beds and 2 more on comfortable sofa beds in the spacious lounge, the home accommodates the largest family groups.

Cook up a storm in the well appointed kitchen and dine in the large dining room at the table for ten or enjoy alfresco dining in the Balinese Pavilion or the all weather BBQ area in the fabulous gardens. A gas BBQ and a Weber BBQ are provided.

Take the steps down to the lawned riverfront where an air-conditioned restored 1950s retro caravan allows you to spend the whole day by the water without having to go back to the house to put the littlies down for their afternoon nap.

There's mains water for showering and washing up as well as another gas BBQ on the river bank.

Great water skiing and wake-boarding on this quiet, wide stretch of the river.
Launch your boat or jet ski from the brand new boat ramp at Fred's landing only 3 minutes away; then moor your craft at the private, carpet pontoon by the caravan at the property.

After a day of water activities you might like to indulge in a massage in the massage chair in the lounge or soak in the two person spa; or both.
The well lit gardens are fully enclosed and the gates are lockable so that you can be sure that the littlies cannot abscond and get into mischief.
There's a giant chess board and chess pieces in a separate gazebo and plenty of other games and DVDs to enjoy indoors and out.
And if you still have the energy, why not visit the local attractions.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Holiday on Murray. The house was large and well appointed. The gardens are beautiful and the entertaining area was a nice oasis for the adults as the children were safe playing in the closed yard. The trek down to the river was a little challenging but once down there everything you needed was there including the cute retro caravan. All and all we loved Holiday on Murray and hope to be back again one day.5/5 by ,
We have adult children that all love skiing and other water sports and this was place had a great set up for this, we could spend the day by the water and then spend the evening in the well set out for entertaining gardens. For our family this place was perfect, young and old enough for that matter to handle the stairs up and down to the river, being right into water sports they could enjoy this quieter part of the river as well as been in the town limits we could also enjoy the comforts that that offers (like good coffee after dinner!) I only wish that because we have adult children that there was more double beds and less bunks. But having said that its hardly an issue when there is so much that is perfect about it. Congratulations to the owners on such a wonderful home.5/5 by ,
