BLUE WATERS VILLAS
Terms and conditions of Holiday rental accomodation\
«Booking» means the period for which you have paid to stay at the Property
«Property» means BLUE WATERS VILLA 1 or 2 and all its fixtures, fittings and equipment.
«Management» means the owners and managers of the Property.
«Guests» means the persons who stay overnight in the Property during the booking.
«Visitor» means a person the Guest permits to visit the Property during the Booking.
ACCEPTANCE & RESPONSIBILTY
Payment of the Deposit constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
CHECK IN/ OUT
Check in time is not before 3.00 pm on the arrival date and check out is not later than 10.am on the departure date unless otherwise arranged. ( Charges may apply)
You must notify management of expected arrival time at least 1 day prior to arrival
Key collection and arrival/ departure information will be advised at the Property in most cases.
Credit card Payments on line through the booking agency ( Visa, Mastercard )
When using the online payment system, the booking is split into 2 portions- the non refundable deposit and the balance.. You may wish to pay the whole amount in AUD up front or pay just the requested amount ( deposit ) The remainder will be automatically debited to your credit card. When booking thru Aura travel you will be asked to pay a days rental as deposit within 7 days of your payment to Aura.
Payment by monthly installments is welcome and often less painful.
All bookings which are made 30 days or less from the arrival date will be requested for the full payment
Payment by direct bank transfer (prefered method) or Paypal by credit card
If you wish to pay by bank transfer direct to to Manager/Owner please request bank details after you advise the offer for the property is suitable. The Booking is confirmed once the deposit is received.
All enqiries are held for 2-3 days waiting for your deposit. If the deposit is not received the property is relisted as vacant for your requested period.
Payments of the amount due in AUD is net of any bank and other transaction charges. International bank charges are at your expense.
We accept payments direct into our bank account, bank cheque, or money order. Personal cheques will be accepted if received at least 30 days prior to your arrival. We do not directly accept credit cards. These are accepted thru our booking agents.
CANCELLATION OR VARIATION
If you cancel after booking thru Aura you may loose your booking fee and part of your deposit
Should you be eligible for a refund it will be made thru the online payment system, then credited to the credit card the payment came from, or tranfered direct to your bank account.
If you paid direct to the property owners and wish to vary or cancel the booking please contact us immediately.
Your deposit may be non-refundable in the event of cancellation less than 30 days notice
If you paid the full amount you may be elligable for a refund less the deposit. However cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date will be refunded only if another booking is taken up for the cancelled period
A variation of booking to lesser days will be treated as a cancellation of the booking for that number of days and the amounts paid may be forfeited if another booking cannot be made for the nights cancelled.
The property has a minimum stay policy of 3 nights. No refund will be made if your variation breaches this requirement.
A bond payment of $250 is required at the same time you receive the keys to the property. This can be paid by cash, cheque or direct bank transfer to our account (direct transfer required 7 days prior).
Once the property has been inspected and deemed left in a similar state to your arrival we will begin the refund process. We agree to ensure this occurs within 7 working days of your departure.
Any damage, loss or expense incurred by the Management as a result of your breach of these Term & Conditions will be charged against the bond. Examples of this include but not limited to, breakage, building damage, loss of property or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared.
If the property becomes unavailable for your occupancy due to unforseen circumstances (e.g. fire, storm or other damage) which render the property unihabitable, the Management will inform you immediately and endevour to obtain suitable alternate accomodation for your occupancy. Failing this any moneys paid will be refunded in full.
PARTIES & FUNCTIONS
The property is not to be used as a party house,------------- period.
Breach of this condition may result in immediate termination and eviction without refund.
LINEN & TOWELS
We supply linen, pillows, blankets, towels, which must be left where supplied in the bedrooms or bathroom on departure. Further linen may be hired through Management. We do not supply beach towels and request that bath towels are not used for that purpose.
A full laundry facility is at the property with laundry powder and stain remover is for your use whilst staying at the the villa.
Pets are not allowed at the property
YOUR OTHER RESPOSIBILITIES
You must comply with all applicable house rules and all instructions from Management of the property concerning occupancy, property, health, safety and quiet enjoyment of the Property and our neighbors.
You are resposible for damage, breakages, theft and loss of the property and any part of it during your stay. You must notify us of this immediately. Management may recover from you repair or replacent cost at Management’s discretion
Only the guests nominated and agreed in the Booking may stay in the property over night. If any other guests stay extra charges may apply or the agreement may be terminated without refund.
Disturbance to our neighbors, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination and eviction without refund and extras charges for security may also be applied.
Before departure, all food must be removed from fridges, all rubbish put in appropiate council bins provided and crockery and cutlery washed and packed away. The property must be left in a clean and tidy condition.
Extra cleaning charges may be incurred for the cleaning of dirty dishes, washing maching, dishwasher, oven, emptying the fridge, removal of excess rubbish. Should the cleaning be more than the usual cost of cleaning the property, you will be charged the additional costs to your security bond or credit card.
All furniture must be left in the position they were when you arrived.
The property should be vacated on time and secured. All doors and windows to be locked and keys left where prearranged.
You are resposible for the safe keeping and replacement of accomodation keys. Duplicate keys will be provided at a cost od $55. Edgewater Pool and Spa key swipe card $100, Garage Remote $75.
Smoking is not permitted in the property.
PROBLEMS & COMPLAINTS
In the case of any problem or complaint, you must inform Managment at the earliest opportunity so Management has the chance to rectify the situation as quickly and efficiently as possible. You must allow repair/service access to the poperty during reasonable hours.
Any complaint which cannot be resolved locally, must be notified in writing to Management prior to your departure from the Property.
Failure to follow this procedure may hinder the ability of Management to rectify the problem or complaint and reduce or extinguish any claim you may have.
We recommend all guests purchase travel insurance since management are not resposible for any injuries, illness, accidents or loss of personal property which may occur whilt staying at our property.
