It was a fantastic alternative to hotel accommodation. The extra space was terrific and we made good use of one of the relaxing areas outside to have a quiet chat and drink in a shaded and secluded setting. We made a last minute addition by taking our daughter with us which was no problem and well catered for. We will be happy to go back again.4/5 by , The Lotuseater
Lotus Eater was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Easy walk to Unley Road precinct. Angela very helpful and friendly - would stay there again. Thank you.4/5 by , Kangaroo Island SA
My wife and I recently stayed at the Lotus eater. Lotus Eater is in a great location, Easy access to airport, walking distance to the city.Unley road having many great restaurants and a shopping centre close by.The Cottage itself has a wonderful relaxed feel and is well appointed with everything you could need. Will definitely be giving it consideration next visit to Adelaide..4/5 by ,
Lovely quiet spot close to everything without the bustle. Easy walk to Unley Rd shops and restaurants or tram to Glenelg. Good bus links to city of you dont feel like walking. Accommodation comfortable (although couch not particularly for lots of lazing), with lovely garden. Owner on hand and helpful if needed but otherwise out of the way. As an escape for one it was just about perfect.5/5 by ,
We had a lovely time at the Lotuseater, it was such a central location with beautiful surrounds.5/5 by ,
The cottage provides a great home-away-from-home for a single person or a couple in a quiet location, and has a holiday feel with its Balinese style furnishings. The leafy, private outdoor courts together with the air conditioning made even the hot Adelaide days comfortable. Buses on Unley road, and trams on King Wiliam Road, are close by giving access to the City Centre and Glenelg beach. My wife and I will definitely return!5/5 by ,
A lovely unique stay in Adelaide. Close to everything. Tranquil setting with a peaceful garden. Would definitely stay again.5/5 by ,
We had a fantastic time while staying at The Lotuseater. The photos on the website really don't do it justice. A picturesque setting, fully functional and extremely comfortable. Very central to everything, especially the restaurant precinct on Unley Road. The owners were extremely accommodating and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely return.5/5 by ,
An excellent cottage to stay while in Adelaide; close to Unley Rd restaurants, shops and a short bus trip into the CBD. A very private and peaceful place to relax with water trickerling in the garden. I thoroughly recommend the Lotuseater.5/5 by ,
My husband & I had a much needed break at Lotuseater. We loved the ambience and feel of the cottage. We were only a 15 minute walk through the park to the cbd and free trams. We were a 1 minute walk to Unley rd which had a great variety of restaurants to choose from. We slept well in a comfy bed and no street noise! The garden setting was beautiful and we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there next time we visit Adelaide. Were glad we chose lotuseater and not Glenelg. Had a day there on the tram, it was nice but preferred the neighbourhood we were in. Gorgeous old houses and quiet street.5/5 by ,
Beautifully presented, from the moment you walk through the gate you feel as if you are in Bali. Comfortable, clean and fully furnished, and a calm and relaxing setting!5/5 by ,
Very 'soothing' accommodation. Quiet area but very close to city and all else. We appreciated that it was well stocked when we arrived. Lovely little outdoor areas to sit/eat. Slept well.4/5 by ,

Location was good, the shopping centre nearby was handy. Close enough to the city but not to close. Cottage had everything you needed.4/5 by ,
What a great place to stay and you can bring your house-trained dog. We stayed for three weeks and loved it. Close to everything you need especially the Heighs Chocolate Factory.5/5 by ,
Great place, although we didn't spend much time there. Location is wonderful and I would like to go back to take in the sights and city of Adelaide. Good location near Unley Street for meals and walking our little dog in the park. Only slight criticism was that the bathroom was quite small, with very little bench-top space.4/5 by ,
It was close to the people we went to Adelaide to visit. The owner was delightfully conversational and helpful.3/5 by , QLD
The location was excellent , and the surrounding properties fitted into the wee cottage. Angela has turned her cottage into that of a homely atmosphere, with a lovely area set aside for one to sit, enjoy the local bird life and enjoy a quiet time with a glass of vintage or breakfast.Thank you Angela, Janet & Phill3/5 by ,
It was quiet and private. CLose to a small shopping centre. The pub around the corner was great and the chocolate factory down the road was a temptation4/5 by ,

Fantastic cottage, could not have asked for more. All facilities one would require and all in good condition. Extremely helpful owner.5/5 by , VIC
The cottage is delightful, perfect for a single or a couple, and my two dogs enjoyed it too! Host Angela is a welcoming, lovely person, who respected my privacy (not easy to do when the cottage is at the rear of her home)nestled in her gorgeous garden. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!4/5 by , VIC
There was plenty of space in the rooms and a plentiful supply of crockery, linen etc. We were close to a main road and bus stop and there were many places to enjoy a meal within about a 20 minute walk.3/5 by , VIC

Beautiful and relaxing accomodation. Very private, very tidy, everything you need is right there. Highly recommended. It is a bit of a walk for groceries, however very close to a lovely thai restaurant less than five minutes walk. Angela is a lovely host.5/5 by , QLD

Lots of nice touches and the location is perfect. close to everything!4/5 by , QLD
The Lotuseater was lovely! a great little private place detached from the main house. Beautifully decorated and very spacious. The owner was very helpful with tips on the local area and went out of her way to accomodate us (our flight from the UK landed very early, but the appartment was clean, tidy and ready for us!) Very good value for money - especially with location to Adelaide. just a 15 minute stroll through the park into town and an easy drive out to Adelaide Hills area. would definately recommend it to anyone stopping in Adelaide5/5 by , LONDON
Excellent! The Lotuseater is a very beautiful place. It's like a little paradise in the city of Adelaide. The most peaceful and cosy place I have been staying at - and I am travelling a lot all around the world!Thank you to my host:-)!5/5 by , NRW
This venue was very conveniently located close to the Theatres and central to many other activities. It was Pet Friendly which swayed our decision to visit. The accomodation was very private, the ambience pleasant and reasonably comfortable, warmed by the reverse cycle air conditioner.Thank you for the opportunity, we would consider another visit.4/5 by , SA

A very lovely, individual one bed bungalow located at the southern edge of the city centre parklands. Smack bang next to the Haigh Chocolate visitors Center so don't forget to book a free trip round the factory. Run by a very charming lady, named Angela.4/5 by , LONDON
'Lotuseater' was great. A really lovely place to stay and close to the city!5/5 by , WA
A quiet haven close to the hubbub of a wide range of quality restaurants and an easy stroll through the parkland to the city. Experienced an inspired Asian retreat in an "old" Adelaide suburb. Internet users... check the city spots for free WIFI.5/5 by , QLD
The Lotuseater is an extremely convenient, comfortable, quiet and uniquely decorated space. It is a good value. It is very well equipped for two, a space set up to feel cosy, yet it is quite open and spacious. The owner has put a great deal of time and effort into the unit and the area around it, in an ongoing project to increase the value of the stay. And Angela is one of the most friendly people we met while in Adelaide!!4/5 by , NEW YORK
An exotic get-away right in the heart of the city of Adelaide.4/5 by , SA
excellent - lovely little cottage, close to the city and my little dog was quite welcome and loved it.excellent service4/5 by , VIC
Angela has done a wonderful job creating a very homely environment true to its name. We found the photographs were true to their word and the Lotuseater everything we expected. My blind elderly mother was able to find her way around the house and taxis had no problem finding the place which was a huge bonus. As a result our trip to Adelaide was wonderful and stress free. It is very close to the city centre and Glenelg tram so an ideal quiet location.3/5 by , MERIMBULA
