Bluestone Cottage with Wifi offers a peaceful relaxed setting in the leafy suburb of Parkside, within walking distance of the eastern parklands bordering Adelaide CBD. The cottage is located within 1 km of Adelaide business district, Rundle Mall, Adelaide Central Market, Adelaide Festival, Fringe, Womadelaide, Clipsal and Tour Down Under street events.

This old character home, with classic timber floors, high ceilings and stained glass windows. Upgraded with ducted heating/cooling modernized kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities.

This property sleeps up to 9 people and is ideal for a family getaway or 2 families. The home has three large bedrooms:

  •  Bedroom 1 - Queen Bed
  •  Bedroom 2 - Trio Bed with Queen Base and single top bunk
  •  Bedroom 3 - 2 sets of single bunk beds (4 beds)

Cot and high chair are available on request. Bedroom one and two have floor to ceiling built in robes for easy storage of clothing and personal items.

All linen is supplied, including quality brands including Sheridan, Soren and Tontine.

The lounge is comfortably furnished with a modern modular couch and a four seater dining table.

The large bright kitchen surrounds 6 seater dining table that can be extended into an 8 seater comfortably. The kitchen includes a Bosch dishwasher, wall oven and hotplates and microwave. Quality cooking, crockery and cutlery are provided for convenience of home style cooking if desired.

There is one full bathroom (bath, shower and toilet) plus a separate laundry with frontload washing machine.

For year round comfort there is ducted air-conditioning and ceiling fans.

Outside is a leafy secure and shaded lawn & garden area with courtyard for private entertaining. Off street parking is available.

The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.


To maintain a good standard for our guests we require compliance with certain conditions. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions of stay.


Arrival- Check in time to be after 2:00pm, unless arranged otherwise with the owner.


Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10:00am at the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests.


Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email.


Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.


Pets are not allowed unless specific arrangements have been made in writing with the owner. City-Side by the Park will accept pet bookings, however, owners must accept full responsibility for pets during the stay with respectful use of the property at all times and any damage will be recovered by the bond.


Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments.


Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants’ responsibility during their stay.


City-Side by the Park accepts no responsibility for any inconvenience due to breakdown of any appliance or failure of any supply. However, best effort will be made to repair, or replace with an alternative during normal business hours.


Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental.


Linens, including towels, are supplied by the owner. Prior to departure, please place towels in the bath located in the main bathroom.


Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant's personal property.


Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing. 

Price is based on 2 persons, additional person $25 per night

We require a Bond deposit of $300 per stay

Pets: $15 per night + $100 Bond

Cleaning exit fee $100

We stayed for two nights during the Adelaide show as we were entered in the dog show there. The property was just what we were looking for, dog friendly with plenty of room for the dogs to exercise in the yard and lovely rooms for us. The bedrooms are very spacious, the beds comfortable, comfortable pillows, plenty of closet space and very clean. Towels where of a good quality too, glassware and plates in great condition. 5 min walk to take away food and fine dining resturants, great bakery just down the street also. The central heating was fantastic( being winter) turned it on and the house was toasty in 5 mins. Off street parking to. All in all the perfect property for our stay, it ticked all the boxes we will be using this property again. I recently stayed with some of my Roller Derby team mates. There was plenty of space for everyone and there was always hot water available despite a possible 8 showers in a row. The ducted air conditioning was very warm. Very affordable and comfortable.4/5 by ,
