The house itself was lovely and very spacious. Just a couple of points: -Combustion Heater (which is why we booked this home over others) -but no wood, we had to purchase our own (additional cost -approx $40 for Fri/Sat) an lug this up the path and step steps -Steps need hand rail, nothing to steady yourself and dangerous (it was raining when we stayed) and one of the guests had a walking stick -Egg slide and good potato peeler are needed Just these few things would make it beautiful3/5 by , Adelaide Thank you for feedback, items required for kitchen will be put in place. Items over time go missing, but will replace, thank you pointing out. Yes the steps do not make it friendly for those with unsteady gait and house would not be suitable for people requiring walking aids. Wood is supplied in winter months, fire ban ended this weekend so fire wood will be supplied from this week through out winter, we do not charge any additional fees for basic wood supply (we request responsible use of fire wood) [manager response]
Not sure how often you are back in the house -evidence of mice on the table/beds and couches - we cleaned before our other friends arrived With a large group having a separate toilet / another toilet would be recommended Unable to locate large bin for all our rubbish - left bottles/cans by small bin near the BBQ BBQ filthy - with a large group we would have used to cook b/fast but instead cooked in the house Having said that location was great and we all had a good stay- just attention to detail would have really made it a great stay 3/5 by , Alice Springs NT 0870 Thank you for your feedback, noted. Sorry you were not happy with accommodation. We have been away, perhaps we should of cancelled the booking so we could ensure quality control. Regards, Jo [manager response]
My wife and I loved the property It was very clean ,comfortable and well renovated. A special place in a lovely small town ! but close to Adelaide the mayor city. 5/5 by , California US
A beautifully renovated property that oozed charm. It suited out requirements very well: quiet location, good sized property, neat and tidy and the owners were most obliging in allowing our two dogs into the equation. A park across the road, local corner store and cafe all within walking distance. Thank you for such a perfect property that was most enjoyed and at the end of a very long and tiring month vacation across to WA.5/5 by , Metung East Gippsland Victoria
Located in a beautiful par of the Adelaide Hills and close to facilities and other tourist locations.5/5 by ,
Tastefully decorated and comfortable. Nowhere to hang bath towels when more than two people.Would have been nice to be able secure the premises unable to lock the front door and had to use a wedge on the bathroom door.Only one tea towel for three days and no extra garbage bags and no bin outside to put our excess rubbish in.Cleaner needs to clean stove top as it was filthyBut thoroughly enjoyed time there thank you4/5 by , Reynella Sth Australia
My wife left her earings on the mantle peice in the bedroom, I did text the owner/manager but have had no response yet, she is very dissapointed in losing them and angry at herself for leaving them, the house is wonderful and cool, Peter4/5 by ,
Mylor house was perfect, comfortable beds, beautifully renovated throughout especially bathroom and kitchen.4/5 by ,
We absolutely loved Mylor House. It had been renovated beautifully with period charm. It had a fantastic bathroom. Everything about the house was lovely and exceeded our expectations. It was perfectly situated in a quaint town with just a General Store but close to all necessary amenities. I can't recommend it highly enough.5/5 by ,
