Very pleased. Have already booked for another stay. Loved the open fire and our dogs loved the large yard to run and play. Some enjoyable walks and within driving distance of local towns. The people in the area were friendly making for a delightful stay. We would recommend the property as a great 'get-away'.5/5 by ,
Loved the location of Peppertree Cottage. So close to the bay (and Sails restaurant) yet not much traffic. Great to go for walks from here which the dogs loved very much!5/5 by ,
We loved Peppertree Cottage and also the fact we could bring our dog. The Cottage was very neat and tidy and well equipped. We loved the decor in the main bedroom, had that nice cottage feel. Also the property owners were very easy to deal with and didnt have an endless list of house rules like some other places we have stayed in. Handy to have the cafe across the road for take-away meals. Overall a great stay.5/5 by ,
Our stay at Peppertree Cottage was delightful, the cottage is very comfortable & well equiped. It was lovely to be able to take our little dog away with us, he enjoyed the lovely walks around the area & especially that he was not relegated to staying outside!4/5 by , SOUTH AUSTRALIA

We had a lovely few days away just before Christmas. Our dog loved the large garden with lush green lawns...lots of room to throw the ball. A perfect place for a rest. Yes we would recommend Peppertree Cottage to anyone looking for a quiet restful holiday. Marg & Brent5/5 by , SA
The peace and quiet. The accommodation was very good; clean, tidy, well provided for, convenient, large lawn area. Open fire in lounge and camp fire setting under the peppercorn tree made for a most enjoyable holiday. Clayton is small, clean, tidy, great outlook, convenient to other tourist spots.4/5 by , SA
It was far enough away from the normal busy places/towns but only 20 minutes to the nearest town so you had the best of both worlds. Loved the house and especially the wood fire. Enough to keep you busy if you want to be or you could just sit and read, relax and wind down. Have recommended it to several of our friends and our children want to go again. Thankyou5/5 by , SOUTH AUSTRALIA
It was very affordable and met our needs exactly ... Clayton was a lovely lakeside break for us ... fishing ... an easy drive to Goolwa, Port Elliot and Middleton ... and wineries ... warm fire ... reading ... trees for the kids to climb ...5/5 by ,
We loved Peppertree Cottage, and our dog loved Peppertree Cottage (especially being able to come inside). The fireplace made it lovely and cosy. Great to stay somewhere we hadn't been before and do some exploring. Also fabulous to see the water at such healthy levels.5/5 by , SA
It was the first holiday we had that we were able to take our dogs with us and that made it even more special. We loved the spot, it was close to other towns and we were able to do some sightseeing. We would stay there again as the owner was so nice and helpful. The cottage had everything and was well fenced.5/5 by ,
Had 3 lovely, relaxing days there. The cottage was beautifully presented and very clean and tidy. Really enjoyed the open fire as well. An added bonus was the very close proximity to the cafe and bay and large garden area for the children. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from it all - 10 out of 10!5/5 by ,
