This ideally located, self contained unit has everything you need at your fingertips. Meters away from public transport, supermarket, 24 hour gym and 24 hour McDonalds/McCafe (if you so desire!), less than 10min drive to the city or Flinders University, walking distance to cafes, restaurants and shops.
The unit features a brand new queen size bed, walk in wardrobe, free Wi-Fi, bathroom with laundry facilities (washing machine), clothes line, fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, oven and microwave, TV and sofa bed. Reverse cycle air-conditioning and heating will keep you comfortable. There is a small outdoor courtyard with chairs and table to enjoy.
The accommodation features a separate lane way entrance from the main house on the property and has its own fenced off courtyard garden. There are no common areas between the unit and the main house so you will have complete privacy, however I am close by and happy to help guests with any questions.
A basic pantry including some breakfast cereal options, seasonal fruit (subject to availability), milk and tea and coffee making facilities are available. Other consumables that are available in the house for guest use (eg. tissues, hand soap, cleaning products, other pantry supplies, toilet paper) are to be replenished by guest if you require more during your stay. Linen is provided.
Long term bookings are welcomed. This is a self serviced holiday house, however stays over 1 week can opt for a weekly service (basic clean and linen change) for an extra $30 charge or fortnightly service during the stay at an extra $30 charge. Otherwise, spare sets of linen and cleaning equipment are available for use as needed. Monthly (or longer) stays will include a complimentary fortnightly cleaning service.
The booking is for up to 2 guests, however extra guests can be accommodated at a small extra charge for bed and linen. The brand new sofa converts into a double sized bed or other mattress options available.
About the area and getting around:
Clarence Park is perfectly situated near the Adelaide Royal Show Grounds, within 5mins walk to 24 hour Goodlife gym, supermarket, shops and a lovely 25min stroll (or less than 4 min drive) through some of Adelaide's finest streets to the King William Road, Hyde Park area - famous for fashion, cafe and dining options. Explore the local Adelaide Farmers Market (located in the Adelaide Royal showgrounds) every Sunday morning, just 25 minutes walk away.
There is no onsite carparking available, however there is a church carpark directly next door that is approved for guest use.
Bus - The bus stop is only a few meters from the front door (taking you to the city - via Chinatown and the Central Markets, or South to Flinders University or Marion shopping centre)
I have loan Metrocards for guest use (please top back up to value as you found them before you leave, can be done online) which can be used on Adelaide's public transport network.
- Train - Millswood railway station is 8 minutes walk (700m) or 15mins walk to Clarence Park railway station.
- Tram - taking you to Glenelg beach or the Entertainment Centre via the city, less than 5 minutes drive or 20mins walk away (1.6km).
- Airport - 15mins drive/8.9km (allow 30mins incase of traffic)
- Beach - If you have a car, Glenelg is around 15 drive (8km)
- Wineries - McLaren Vale is only 30mins drive south
