Description

There are several people who return year in and year out for their annual break at Kellys'Gulf View. There is easy access and on-site parking at the back via Dover Place (no.27). The unit is at the front on ground level which is elevated from the esplanade by about 4 metres. Hence great views of the sea and beach out front.

The living area of the unit is comfortable and spacious with air conditioning. One bedroom has a queensize bed and the other larger bedroom has three singles, 2 of which are oversized. Plus there is a collapsible baby's cot. (Please note, however, that there is no fencing to prevent toddlers from wandering off.)

Entertainment includes TV, stereo, modem, Netflix, DVD with ipod connection. The kitchen is well equipped and has the usual several items of cooking equipment including microwave, and the bathroom incorporates a washing machine.

Besides the various water sports (including fishing from Pt Noarlunga jetty and scuba diving on the reef), for all the year round there are umpteen nature and heritage walks and youth entertainments in the district. The southern coast (e.g.,Pt Noarlunga, Maslins, Pt Willunga, Cape Jervis, Victor, Goolwa) with perhaps a return through the hills is a magnificent drive. Then again the 60-odd cellar doors in the famous McLaren Vale could keep some people more than occupied!

No shortage of good shopping, especially with much-enlarged Colonnades up the road and the same goes for the selection of restaurants in the vicinity.

"Stunning ocean views" It really doesn’t get any better than this!! Right on the esplanade, unobstructed sea views from the cosy living area. Beds are comfy, shower is warm, kitchen has everything you need (BYO food or plenty of eateries to choose from locally - Uber eats deliver at the moment too). Spent 3 days in peaceful solitude here as a busy single mum it was just what I needed to recharge and relax.

The property, although an older building was very well kept and presented. everything we could possibly need was there and the location was terrific. Mr and Mrs Kelly were very helpful, but unobtrusive. We enjoyed every minute and would be happy to recommend it to anyone - especially a family with children - and would happily stay there again.
