It was a heat wave and with noisy fans we could not sleep. Outside was very 1960s and it was difficult to find as the sign is covered by a huge tree, so even coming in from the main road, almost impossible to see. The whole area is very run down, as is much of Kangaroo Island. I have not been there for 40 years and it has changed little, except that now you pay for everything, evebn seals on a beach in the far distance!!! The ferry is the most expensive in the world for the distance travelled to the Island. There are plenty of other places I have been far better....this is mainly a pile of dirt roads with a few pretty beaches far apart. I was born in South Australia and lived there for 40 years.2/5 by , QLD
