Just pack some clothes and personal toiletries - everything else is provided including a take home freshly cooked quiche for Sunday night tea!
Experience the real taste of fruit as you pick it from the trees - homemade pate and freshly baked sourdough bread for your picnic lunch along with a wine in a place of your choosing.
Relax in your own separate lodge with space to move and amazing 270 degree views while you sip on a wine, cider or beer from the guest fridge and nibble on homemade treats.
Or join other guests in the shared lounge/dining room to watch the footy, read magazines, play chess or just to socialise while enjoying Lush Pastures' hospitality.
All guests join Andy and Cheryl at a unique gum tree table to indulge in a 7 course dinner on Saturday night using homegrown and local produce and paired with Geoff Hardy K1 wines, local beers and cider.
B&B Experience
Romeo, Oscar and Yankee are the three individual guest lodges catering for two people in each.
High ceilings and lots of glass provide real spaciousness and a feeling of being in the middle of the open landscape yet maintaining privacy through the clever use of screens and blinds.
The tastefully decorated Lodges contain a king bed (or two long singles), quality linen, towels and robes, a small dining table and chairs, armchairs with footstools a fridge, sink, coffee and tea supplies as well as an enormous bathroom. Toiletries include a toothbrush and shaver.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast cooked by Cheryl in the guests' dining room.
Optional extras for B&B guests include evening meals, picnic hamper and quiche to take home.
Fully Hosted Experience
To take advantage of all the Lush Pastures offers you should just pack a few clothes and personal toiletries to enjoy a relaxing, indulgent weekend.
Check-in is from 3.00pm on either Friday or Saturday with checkout at 3.00pm on Sunday.
Just over an hour from Adelaide CBD arrive to champagne in your luxurious lodge while you take in the stunning views, before joining other guests in the dining room. A casual feast will follow with lots of taste experiences paired with beverages of choice along with local wines.
Sitting around the log fire enjoying coffee and liqueurs, or watching something on TV ends Friday night before retiring to a lodge where the night sky and ships passing on the horizon can be enjoyed.
Saturday morning at a time determined by you, a tasty breakfast is provided! freshly cooked from an extensive menu.
A picnic basket with fresh bread, locally made pate, and other tasty delights including beverages, is provided for lunch either at Lush Pastures in a lodge, at one of the picnic spots, taken to McLaren Vale, Victor Harbor or wherever the mood takes.
Saturday dinner is a more formal affair food wise, with nibbles and drinks followed by appetiser, soup, entree, main, dessert, cheese platter and coffee accompanied again by wines and beverages. Depending on the weather you might decide on an evening stroll along a moonlit path before once again retiring to your lodge.
Sunday morning allows you to have a lazy morning enjoying tea or coffee in a lodge, or an early walk to start the digestive juices flowing before tackling brunch. Freshly squeezed juice begins a lazy journey through fruit, muesli, yoghurt, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, smoked salmon with scrambled eggs, croissants, ? either freshly grown and produced at Lush Pastures or locally sourced.
Set menus just don't happen at Lush Pastures as Cheryl will use seasonal produce to determine the dishes to delight the palate. Special menus may be arranged with consultation.
You may like to indulge in a cheese platter as a Sunday afternoon snack before you check out at 3.00pm taking your freshly made quiche home with you for Sunday night tea!
