Sue and Steve Martin have had the rights to manage the SURFERS CHALET holiday apartments for the past 17 years and being right across the road from the beach has been the perfect place to bring up their two boys, Jackson and Frazer. What a great backyard it has been, and a wonderful lifestyle for the boys to grow up in. A complete contrast to Sue and Steve being from the country area of Wagga Wagga, NSW.

Steve had a very successful rugby league career as a player and as a first grade coach, prior to becoming the Manager of Surfers Chalet. This is very evident from the framed Australian and State of Origin jerseys and photos on the wall behind the reception desk, which always makes for a great topic of conversation when guests are checking in for their relaxing holiday at Surfers Chalet.

Being in the business for the past 15 years has given Sue and Steve plenty of experience in helping their guests plan and enjoy their holiday on the Gold Coast. Sue can organise and book all tours and attractions and give great advice to her guests with all her experience in booking transfers to and from airports, theme park tickets, dinner and show restaurants, transfers to and from theme parks and advise the best and cheapest way to go about making a holiday stress free and enjoyable.

The building is five levels high with a lift servicing all floors and access to internet in all apartments. Undercover, security parking is available for each apartment. Sauna area is situated in the basement, a lovely pool and spa area is situated at the front of the building, with all north facing apartments overlooking the pool, and also having great ocean views. South East corner apartments have views looking straight out to the beach and ocean.

Public transport and shops are conveniently situated right at the end of our street.

All our apartments are two bedrooms, two bathrooms, very spacious and nearly all have ocean views. We have a 1 bedroom groundfloor courtyard apartment which is very convenient for young families, leading out to the pool area. The courtyard makes for a stress free holiday without the worry of the balconies for the younger children. We also have motel rooms for 2 people,which are perfect for that one night's stay without paying a fortune.

Units must be vacated by 10:00 am on the day of departure. If departing prior to 8:30am, account must be settled before 5:30pm on the day prior. 

To show consideration to other guests, all musical instruments, TV, Stereos or radios, etc. shall be kept as low as possible at all times. Any sociual gatherings are requested to be kept within the confines of the unit. Any noise arising from these gatherings should not be audible to any other resident. The acceptable hours for an acceptable noise level being 8:00am to 10:00pm. 

Management reserves the right to disperse any gathering relating to the above. 

A propietor or tenant shall not: 

  • Use the swimming pool or spa before 7:00am or after 8:30pm
  • Run or skylark in or around the swimming pool or common areas. 
  • Allow children under the age of 16 years to use the spa pool (which is an adult facility) unless supervised by an adult. 
  • Use or partake, any glass container in or around the swimming pool and common area. 
  • Use the sauna before 7:30am and after 10:00pm daily. 
  • Under any circumstances drop any foodstuff, cigarette ash or butts, papers, cans, etc. over balconies into courtyards or common property. 
  • Keep any animals in his unit or common property. 
  • Park any vehicle in any space allocated to a unit other than his own, or park his vehicle in any manner that may obstruct entry or exit to any area. 
  • Play or use skateboards, roller skates or ride bicycles in or around the car parking areas and driveways and shall not take surfboards, surf mats and bicycles into the units. 
  • Permit children under the age of 12 years to operate lifts unless accompanied by a responsible adult. 
  • Hang clothing, bedding beach towels and other articles on the windows, balcnies, or on the outside of the building or windows thereof. 
  • Use the washing machine and or clothes dryer after 8:00pm or before 7:30am. 

All windows, doors must be locked and lights turned off when the premises are left unoccupied. 

Management reserves the right to enter the premises and effect the above. 

Management reserves the right to enter any unit at any given time.

 

*Cancellation Policy

Cancellations or changes to bookings cannot be made within 14 days prior to 6pm of the check-in date or you will be charged the full amount of the booking.  We accept credit card as security, not a debit card.  If you do not have a credit card, we require a $200 cash security bond.
