The home is approximately 30 minutes from the Gold Coast airport and only one hour from Brisbane airport.

Byron Bay, rainforest & hinterland walks, Springbrook Park, Mount Tamborine, Warning, Sunshine Coast & Australia Zoo (Steve Irwin Zoo) are all easy day trips

To ensure a high standard for guests, the home and neighbourhood, we request that you comply with a few conditions

* This is a residential area; No excessive noise, parties gatherings or commercial events allowed. Any disturbance to our neighbours may result in termination of rental with loss of booking fee.

* Number of guests not to exceed those booked for and pre-approved by owner.  Maximum 6 guests

* No sleeping on sofas. Beds will be made up as per booking

* No Smoking in the house or decks

* Pets are not allowed

* No use of Pool before 7am or after 9pm

* Dispose of garbage in the correct external bins. Please comply with garbage collection arrangements. (We shall send a reminder if bins are due on street for collection)

* On departure, please leave the home tidy, wipe kitchen & wash crockery. Clean BBQ if used. (extra cleaning fee applies)

* All keys left on kitchen bench and key safe. Charges apply for lost keys or garage remote control

* No use of illegal substances on premises

* Any damage and breakage are the guest's responsibility

* If you plan to entertain friends or family please make us aware of your intentions

Terms & conditions

To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.

The number of guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or the number subsequently agreed in writing or email.  Fees will apply for additional guests not agreed to with the owner in advance.

Parties and functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your security deposit and/or additional payments.

Damage, breakages, theft and loss are the guest's responsibility during their stay.

Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10:00 to allow time to prepare property for next guests.

Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of the security deposit.

The security deposit is payable at the same time as the balance amount. The security deposit will be refunded within 7 days subject to the above conditions being met. It is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared, etc.

Loss - the owner takes no responsibility for the guest's personal property.

Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangement with the owner in writing.

We had a lovely stay at Randall and Anne’s place. The house is beautiful, many nice places to relax, lots of amenities including the use of kayaks and crab pots that our teenagers loved. We really managed to unwind for a few days and just soak in the sun. It was bliss!



Could not have asked for a better place to stay during our holiday to the Gold Coast. Absolutely perfect house with everything you could possibly need. Location was fantastic and central to everything including shops, theme parks and beaches. An amazing place especially for a family, with the pool on one side and canal with jetty on the other, the kids would’ve all been more than happy to stay at the house the entire trip! Anne & Randall went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and the kind and thoughtful gestures didn’t go unnoticed. We will definitely be back! x



What an amazing house! There was plenty of room for all 7 of us and it was the perfect space to unwind and enjoy the Gold Coast. There are lots of nice touches like the kids toys, herbs and condiments in the kitchen, beach towels and cot that really make the house feel homely. The huge outside area looking over the canal was fantastic and we enjoyed a barbeque one night while watching a storm light up the sky off in the distance. Surfer's Paradise is a short drive away, as is a great shipping centre...but there is an IGA and a few restaurants just across the street if you need something in a hurry. Anne and Randall were great hosts and gave us some advice on the local area, we look forward to visiting again and exploring more.
