Whiskey Gully Wines, at Severnlea, is in the heart of the Granite Belt region which has ideal climate and soils for premium wine grape production. It produces elegant and fruity full-bodied red wines and well balanced white wines in both aromatic and fruit driven styles. The vineyard was established on one of the district's oldest station properties - Beverley - which was first settled in 1880 and the historic homestead has a cellar door outlet, a restaurant and there are also award-winning accommodation cottages.

Our wines have won over 60 trophies and awards at National and State wine shows since first showing our wines in 2001. Our winery received a 4.1/2 star rating from James Halliday in his 2009 Wine Companion indeed our 2005 Rep Red got 5 Stars. Denice's place is full of character and charm. Staying on her beautiful rustic property was a very special and distinctly Australian experience that felt very private and surrounded by nature.

Denice’s place was perfect for our weekend getaway. We stayed in Stanthorpe on the coldest weekend of the year and yet we were so warm with the fire and heating in the cabin. The property was beautiful and secluded yet a 10 minute drive from the centre of Stanthorpe. Their beautiful border collie had little puppies which were adorable and really made the stay special. We would recommend Denice’s place to friends and family wanting to stay in Stanthorpe.
