The coastal town of Emu Park has excellent fishing and swimming - and check out the ‘jaw-dropping’ sight of more than 3000 crocodiles at the Koorana Crocodile Farm.

Mount Archer National Park
There is no better way to begin your exploration of Rockhampton than to drive to the top of its highest peak. From the Mount Archer summit you’ll see spectacular panoramic views of the city, Fitzroy River, the inland ranges and Capricorn Coast.
Koorana Crocodile Park
Queensland's first crocodile farm and home to 3,000 of nature's oldest 'children', weighing in from 100g to 800kg, guided tours are available daily at 10.30am & 1.00pm.

Byfield National Park
Home to the rare Byfield Fern (Bohemia Serrata). The major waterway, Waterpark Creek, is host to ancient and towering remnant rainforest and many birds and animals. Outstanding coastal scenery, massive sand dunes and rugged pinnacles.
Great Keppel Island
Cruising to Great Keppel Island is half the fun – coral viewing, fish feeding, snorkelling and swimming. When you arrive, enjoy bush walking, bird watching or just sit back and soak in the magnificence of Keppel Bay.
