Welcome to " Aaronlee Retreat Tamborine Mountain" Enjoy a great mountain getaway in one of our cottage style self contained units. Our Retreat is set in 10 acres of lush green lawns and gardens, with stunning and sensational views to Surfers Paradise and beyond in one direction to Mt. Warning in the other direction, as the Retreat is poised on the very top and very edge of the Mt. Tamborine....Aaronlee has a selection of rooms starting with the STUDIO units, to SPA suites with a bedroom and a lounge room ... finally experience our three bedroom COTTAGE on the very edge of the mountain. This truly relaxing retreat allows you to delight in this beautiful setting with picturesque natural surroundings.

Wake up at your leisure to the call of kookaburras and lorikeets. Listen for the call of a frog mouthed owl. Perhaps you will see a kangaroo hop by. You might like to feed Tory the horse, who thinks he is Mr. Ed. We would suggest you stay 2 or 3 days and use ‘Aaronlee” as a base.

Only 35 minutes drive to Surfers Paradise, 50 minutes to Brisbane and 20 minutes to Movieworld, Wet ‘n’ Wild and Dreamworld. Aaronlee is at the entrance to Lamington National Park with all its scenic beauty, trail walks etc. The mountain also has many craft shops, quaint tea-houses and the like.

Directions

Coming down from Brisbane, take the M1 motorway and exit 57. Go to the top of the mountain, right at first roundabout passing the craft shops and then through the second. From this point and not before follow all signs to “Canungra”. Follow road to end, right into Lahey Road, left into Main Western Road, passing another roundabout and 200 metres on you will turn right into White Road. Proceed 4klm passing Wilson road and then turn left into Lahey Lookout road at the flashing lights. You are only 500 metres to Aaronlee Retreat.

Cancellation / Prepayment

Cancellation or changes to bookings must be made 14 days prior to the check in date or the full amount will be charged. Cancellations for the Christmas period (25th of Dec – 8th of Jan), Easter and Long Weekends are non-refundable.

Children and extra

Children 4 -12 yrs charged at $40 per night.  Children 0 – 4 are free
