Rainbow Beach Ultimate Camping is an exciting new alternative in accommodation. Fully equipped beach-front camp-sites set up for you at beautiful Inskip Point overlooking World Heritage Listed Fraser Island.
Inskip Peninsula is a Protected Recreational Area surrounded by beaches and National Parks. Only ten minutes north of Rainbow Beach township, 45 mins from Gympie and the quickest and most convenient gateway to Fraser Island.
We offer a nature based, "eco" friendly experience where you don't need to bring any camping equipment of your own - this really is the ultimate way to camp. All you need are your clothes and food.
Equipment is pitched and packed as needed leaving no footprint or permanent structures on the environment. You are so close to nature you can feel it. Rainbow Beach is also home of the famous Coloured Sands and stunning beaches. The sub tropical climate is beautiful all year round. Experiencing this ultimate multi starred holiday is a must.

Beach front Accommodation
We provide unique beach front campingaccommodation. We operate primarily in the Protected Area of Inskip Peninsula, setting up our camps as needed and packing them up when finished. We really leave minimal footprints. Forget 5 star, you will see multi stars from the best seat in the house.
Glamping -Stress free camping
Our packages include complete set up and pack down of your campsite (pitch & pack), camping permits and everything needed to cook, sleep and eat with. Some call it Glamping yet still retaining the fundamental elements of real traditional camping. We offer optional extra's to customise your campsite even further. We make camping easy and enjoyable.
We operate from the Shell Tourist Centre at 1/36 Rainbow Beach Rd. As we do not keep equipment onsite, please phone ahead if you require rental gear so we can have it ready for you. (once booking is confirmed)
We are often at Inskip Peninsula setting up camps and can have limited phone coverage so please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible. (phone provided once booking is confirmed)
Car Parking Details
Off road car parking is available at the Inskip Peninsula Recreation Area. Four wheel drive vehicles can be parked at your camp by accessing the sand tracks. Some sand track access available for 2 wheel drive also.

Children Details
We welcome children with open arms. We believe that today's young people are tomorrow's caretakers of our National Parks and Protected areas. In order to look after these important natural areas they must first value them. To value these assets they must first experience them, from the ground up. We believe that camping is an important part of a child's rite of passage to adulthood.

Rainbow Beach is accessed by road via Gympie on the Sunshine Coast. Well serviced by bus transport to the township. Visitors will require their own transport to Inskip Peninsula, 12 minutes north of the village, at the base of Fraser Island. Sunshine Coast International Airport is situated 2 hours south and Brisbane International Airport 3 hours south. 4WD vehicles are available for hire at Rainbow Beach and can be arranged for you.
