These panoramic water views are truly superb, bringing together the ever changing colours of the ocean, the tidal waters and sandy islands of Pumicestone Passage, the natural beauty of the northern tip of Bribie Island and the Caloundra CBD skyline.

Most apartments are air conditioned.  There are elevators to all floors and each apartment has a lock-up garage.  The heated pool and spa are set in wheel chair accessible gardens with a gas BBQ and outdoor dining area. 

Stay in comfort and relax or fish, windsurf, canoe or sail at Sails Resort.  Completely self-contained spacious apartments are managed and maintained by on site managers.  There is no road to cross to access the waterfront, and the layout of all units ensure that magnificent water views are seen from the living areas.

Sails Resort on Golden Beach is ideally located in Caloundra, only 100 metres from a shopping centre, and a short stroll to Caloundra CBD.  Australia Zoo, Aussie World, Wineries, galleries, restaurants and clubs are all close by.

Directions to Sails Resort

From the Bruce Highway (M1) about an hours drive north from Brisbane, follow Caloundra Road (6) for about  9 kilometers.  Go past McDonalds and KFC.  The Stockland shopping centre is to the left and Cold Rock Ice Cream on the right.  Turn right at the traffic lights into Park Place which then becomes Landsborough Pde.   We are the first building on the left hand side on the bend opposite North Street. 

Take care, the entry is easy to drive straight past.

For your own security, close and lock the balcony security doors and windows at night and when leaving your unit. 

Because tropical storms occur frequently during summer months, be sure to close all windows and doors when you leave your unit.

Do not bring animals onto the grounds or into the building.

Do not park vehicles on any of the driveways.  Keep vehicles in your allocated lock-up garage, in the guest car park, or out on the street.

Keep noise and music to an acceptable level between 7.00am and 10.00pm, giving consideration to other guests staying in the complex.

Keep noise and music at a level inaudible to other guests  between 10.00pm and 7.00am.

Visitors and residents leaving or returning to units after 10.00pm or before 7.00am are requested to do so quietly.

Do not throw, or let fall, any object (including keys) from the balconies.

Please respect our lawns, gardens and common property.

Swimming pool hours are 7.00am to 9.00pm.  It is heated to 27.5 degrees in the cooler months.  The spa push button switch is high  on the outer wall of the shower block.

Children under 12 are not permitted to use the pool unless supervised within the pool area by an adult.

For safe, injury free enjoyment

  • NO glass of any kind in the pool area
  • NO diving, jumping, running, eating or drinking in or around the pool.
  • NO throwing of hard objects or excessive splashing.
  • NO rowdy behavior.

Management reserves the right to immediately terminate the tenancy of a guest, who, having been requested by Management to comply with behaviour and noise standards, fails to do so.

Terms & conditions

Please read these conditions carefully. Each person signing these conditions ("the Guest") acknowledges and agrees that these conditions apply and extend to any person (also referred to as "Guest") occupying or visiting the apartment or complex and/or using the facilities in the complex at the invitation of or with the authority of the Guest.

  1. Charges must be paid by cash, bank cheque or credit card before occupancy commences unless special prior arrangements have been made.
  2. Occupancy starts and finishes on the dates shown on the receipt.

The Guest will be liable for payment of any charges incurred by any Guest together with all replacements and necessary costs for any damage or loss to the apartment and its contents or the Body Corporate property caused by any guest.

The apartment must not be used for any unlawful purpose.

Guests must only park cars in the designated areas.

Only the number of people shown on the receipt may stay in the apartment overnight.

No animals or pets are to be brought onto the complex.

Neither the Body corporate, the Manager nor the apartment owner is liable for any damage or loss of property which the guest may sustain while on the complex.

  1. The Guest must comply with the by-laws, rules and regulations of the complex and any reasonable direction by the Manager.
  2. There is no refund for early departure.
  3. The Manager may inspect the apartment at any time with reasonable notice and at any time without notice if the Manager is of the opinion that there has been a breach of these conditions.
  4. The Manager and the apartment owner are not responsible for any misdescription of the apartment.
  5. In the event of the Guest desiring to cancel the booking, a refund of the deposit, less an administrative fee, will only be made if more than 28 days notice is given in high season or 14 days at other times.
  6. The Guest authorises the Manager to charge any credit card for any loss, damage or monetary contribution for which any Guest is liable under this document or otherwise.

If the occupancy ends or is terminated, the Guest must immediately vacate the apartment. The Manager is authorised to do whatever is required to enforce the eviction of any Guest and removal of Guests property.
