BOOKING CONDITIONS AND TARIFF

We offer bookings as below-

"Special Low" $220 /night February, March *
"Standard Low" $240 /night April, May, June, July, Nov, Dec.*
"High Season" $260 /night August, September, October *

Saturday nights are not available unless in a 2-week or combination booking.
1 week = 6 nights, Sunday to Saturday.

SHORT STAYS-
add $40 /night- 4 or 5 nights, no short stays for weekends or during school holidays

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS- (no short stays)
Winter - $260 /night Sun-Sat 6 or *13 nights
Easter/Spring/Summer - $300 /night Sun-Sat 6 or *13 nights

24hr power is provided by our own Solar Installation.
Use of plug-in appliances other than those provided is NOT ALLOWED.

Fraser Island-
..is strictly 4wd territory. You can BYO [permit required from NPWS] or hire from Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach. 
..is a National Park and your domestic pets are not permitted on the island. 
..is a remote destination, and ready access to medical assistance is difficult. 
Access to other services such as mechanical, electrical, plumbing, etc. is also very limited.
The resort at Happy Valley has a shop/convenience store which has a limited range of fresh and frozen food and groceries

The premises are let for holiday purposes only, for the period agreed upon with the owners/managers. The number of guests is restricted to the number agreed upon with the owners/managers, the maximum unless otherwise agreed to is 10 persons, maximum adults allowed is 8.

Please do not cause any nuisance, noise or disturbance which may interfere with the enjoyment of persons occupying neighbouring premises. Please do not park vehicles on the footpaths or driveways of any neighbouring properties.

Check-out time is 12 midday, on day of departure, unless prior arrangements have been made.

Please leave the premises in a clean and tidy condition, as found upon arrival.

Damage, breakages, and losses to/of the building, its furniture, fittings and contents, are the responsibility of the tenant during occupancy. Please report and pay for any such damage or breakages.

Tenants are responsible for insuring their own property. No responsibility whatsoever is taken for the property of tenants or guests on or near the pemises.

Please dispose of household rubbish regularly, and upon departure, in the bins on Moon Point Road.

Please dispose of cooking oil/fat by putting it in sealed non-recyclable container/s.

All fish are to be cleaned on the beach.

No fuel is to be stored in or around the premises.

Please do not use any sharp objects in the fridges / freezers.

Fraser Island is a remote destination; there is no easy access to tradesmen such as plumbers and electricians, and while we make every effort to provide trouble-free services, uninterrupted supply of power/water/drainage utilities is not guaranteed. To optimise the services provided, please take particular note of the following conditions –

Use only the appliances provided. The house runs on its own solar / diesel system, and all our appliances are carefully selected to make the least impact on the available power. Use of other appliances, especially portable fridges / frypans / hairdryers / toasters, is not allowed, and if used may cause the power supply (as well as supply of water to taps and toilets) to fail, and you may incur a charge for resetting of the system.

Washing Machine & Vacuum Cleaner- best used in mornings on sunny days to allow time for batteries to recharge. Lights- should be turned off if not needed. The diesel generator will recharge low batteries, but not between 9pm and 9am.

The drainage system is septic. Please do not flush nappies, personal hygiene items or any other unsuitable items down the toilets or sinks. Failure to comply with this condition could cause a blockage in the drains, which you would find very inconvenient.
