Description

The Lighthouse has just had a complete facelift. All of the character of the original cottage remains but the space is now designed for modern living. The Lighthouse is located in East Toowoomba only minutes from Toowoomba's boarding schools, medical facilities, St Vincent's Hospital, CBD and Local Attractions.

The Lighthouse is fully self-contained and the perfect place to enjoy your stay in Toowoomba. With it's north facing aspect the morning sun drenches The Lighthouse's main living room and master bedroom. Both rooms have beautiful bay windows for you to sit in to relax and enjoy your coffee and the morning paper.

The fireplace is in the kitchen, at the heart of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with all that you could ever need. Enjoy it's feel as you cook a meal, share a coffee or a glass of wine in it's spacious size. 

A deck extends from the dining room and a lovely back garden is the perfect place to enjoy the bar-b-que.

There are three bedrooms. The main room has a queen size bed, the second two single beds and the third has two king singles that can be easily be rolled together to make a king. All have new mattresses and are super comfortable. Beautiful linen adds the finishing touch.

The Lighthouse has one main bathroom with a shower over the bath and an additional powder room with extra toilet and wash basin.

The laundry is fully equipped with washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities.

There is free Wifi and Netflix available.

The Lighthouse has a small garage, is fully fenced and off street parking is available.

We understand for our visitors that time on Sunday is valuable before you go home. Please contact us about the availablity of a 3pm checkout.

You are free to use the whole house and garden.

We are available by phone if you need us, but will leave you to enjoy your privacy.

The Lighthouse is in a lovely quiet street and we would ask you to be respectful of our neighbours. We don't encourage parties but would like you to enjoy the house.

You can walk to local coffee shops, Thai take away, bakery, mini supermarkets and bottle shops. Queen's park is just a 5 minute walk.

Terms & conditions

Cancellation Policy:

  • All cancellations incur loss of deposit
  • If cancellation made within 28 days of arrival ~ loss of 100% of the total booking price

Security Bond Policy: 

Owner/Manager may retain an amount from the Security Bond equal to any damages or costs actually incurred by the owner/manager as a result of the traveller's breach of the contract between the owner/manager and the traveller.

This house is absolutely gorgeous and would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Toowoomba. Everything has been thought of and there were some lovely personal touches that made the trip really special. Easy walk to great cafes too! Must stay here

Great house and even more space than we expected ! Everything you need plus more is provided. Lovely quiet street only minutes from centre of town. Lots of local shops and cafes as well. Very comfy bed and so well decorated. Beautiful gardens too. Only good things to say !

"Beautiful House - inside and out!" We had a wonderful stay at your beautiful home with our family! The house was in a quiet street and close to shops and the Gabbinbar Homestead where we attended a wedding. The house was well-kept, clean and cosy. We were able to connect to the wifi but did have problems getting internet access - perhaps worth looking into? Overall we were really impressed and enjoyed our time so thank you!!!
