Description

SANCTUARY POINT RETREAT.  Large house, DISABLED-friendly: Pets not allowed.  

A beautiful modern holiday home situated in the quiet suburb of Sanctuary Point, near Jervis Bay. House is wheelchair accessible. Bathroom/shower is also wheelchair accessible. Air-conditioned. Suitable for disabled or frail persons. Only available for Summer school holidays and Easter (4 night minimum).

'The Basin' is clean & calm, excellent for young children. Less than 10 minutes drive from Jervis Bay (Booderee). Jervis Bay provides superb snorkelling and scuba-diving in the abundant sheltered bays,and amongst rocky submerged outcrops.

If you're after BUSH and NATIONAL PARKS, - a 10 minute drive will get you to the Booderee National Park (formerly Jervis Bay N.P.), and to the Jervis Bay Marine National Park. Pigeon House Mountain walk is well suited to people of average fitness, and is 1.5 hour drive south to its carpark, via Ulladulla. Other nearby National Parks are Morton & Minnamurra Falls, to the north.

ENTERTAINMENT: Huskisson, 'The Gateway to Jervis Bay', provides an historic pub, restored cinema, many restaurants, and a Carnival during the peak weeks of summer.

Tariff: $240 per night for 2 adults. ($15 per night each additional adult)

When making an enquiry, please advise the INDIVIDUAL AGES of children in your group (if applicable.)

Children/concession: 1-5 yrs $5 per night each;  6-12yrs $10 pn,   13yrs+ $15 pn ea
BEDROOMS: Sleeps 8+.Main bedroom has queenbed + ensuite. 
2nd bedroom has queenbed. 
3rd bedroom 2 single beds. 
4th bedroom has a King Single.
5th 'bedroom' is a 'sitting room' which has a single bed, and sliding doors which can be closed.
Larger groups would have to bring their own airbeds. 

BATHROOMS: Two.
LOUNGE: wide-screen TV. 
KITCHEN: large, fully equipped with all cutlery, crockery, cookware, dishwasher, gas oven & stove, microwave. Well suited to feeding large groups.Separate LAUNDRY, fully equipped with washing machine and clothes dryer.

The house is climate controlled with reverse cycle air conditioning for constant comfort.

The yard is securely fenced on all boundaries.
You need to bring your own:
* Pillowslips & sheets (mandatory).
* Personal toiletries, and towells.
Dogs NOT accepted in this property, sorry.

Yellow Cottage: Dogs:  allowed inside but not on the furniture nor in any room with carpet, which are bedrooms. Dog owner must clean up dog droppings from the yards, before they depart. 

Noise restrictions: Functions or parties requiring externalbroadcasting of recorded or live music/noise are prohibited on our properties. Our properties are for accommodation purposes only.
Requests to Guests (from neighbours or property owner) for reduction of noise or disturbance must be complied with completely & immediately by the Guests. 
Disregard by Guests of repeated requests for reduction of noise/disturbance, may result in termination of letting, and eviction with no refund of tariff.

Terms & conditions

South Coast Holiday Cottages - Terms and Conditions.

Payment of the Booking deposit constitutes the customer’s acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

BOND: Will be required at owners’ discretion, and will be returned to Guests if, 
a) occupation conditions relating to Noise Restrictions (refer paragraph below) have been complied with, and
b) upon inspection, the property owners assess the property to have been left by the Guests in acceptable state of care & cleanliness. Guests are liable for payment for repairs to damage caused (byGuests) to the rental property & its inclusions.

Dogs are accepted in Yellow Cottage only (not in the Sanctuary Point Retreat): allowed inside but not on the furniture nor in any room with carpet, which are bedrooms. Dog owner must clean up dog droppings from the yards, before they depart. Other pets may also be accepted - ask when you book. The property owners are not responsible for the health/welfare of the Guest’s pets.
Bringing a dog/cat in to the Sanctuary Point Retreat prevents return of Bond.

Smoking: prohibited anywhere on the property, inside & out.

Cancellation/Refund: 6 weeks or more notice = full refund of deposit; Less than 6 weeks, but more than 2 weeks = 50% refund of deposit if we are unable to refill the vacancy. Less than 2 weeks = no refund of deposit if we are unable to refill the vacancy. When advised of a cancellation, the owners will endeavour to refill the vacancy.

Number of persons in the booking must not exceed the number stated by the Guests when the booking was made. Extra persons in the group not previously advised, will incur standard ‘per night’ extra tariff. 
Property accommodation capacity is based on the owner’s assessment of that property’s ability to meet the Guest-group’s needs for health & safety reasons, and practical capacity of the facilities.

Standard check-in time is 2.00 pm, and departure time is 10.00 am, unless otherwise arranged with the owner. 
However variations can apply depending on previous and departing guests i.e. if no same-day incoming guests, check out can be late in the day. Please ask.

Guests’ personal property: 
The property owners and their agents, are not responsible for breakage, loss, theft of the Guests’ personal property.

Garbage must be sorted by Guests into correct bins. i.e. recyclables separated from non-recyclable.

Cleaning/Departure: Guests must leave the house in at least a similar clean & tidy condition, to that when they arrived. 
Extra cleaning (beyond usual average cleaning time) required by the cleaners may incur a further fee to the Guest’s credit card, or loss of bond.
Keys must be returned to the property owners, according to instructions provided by the property owners.
