~~From Sydney follow the M1 Motorway to the very end at Beresfield, follow the signs towards Taree, going through Hexham and Heatherbrae on the Pacific Highway. Approx 10 minutes after Heatherbrae take a left turn on to the Bucketts Way (if you miss this turn you will be in Karuah) going through Booral, Stroud (approx 1 hour) into Gloucester. Once you have reached Gloucester go through  the main street – Church Street, at the end of the main street is a round about, veer left at the roundabout onto Thunderbolts Way towards Scone and Walcha going past Turner Holden and the Bowling Club on the left. Go over the Gloucester River bridge, you are in the 60km zone. You will then go into an 80km zone, then 100km zone. Follow this road into the village of Barrington, once in Barrington you are on Argyle Street. Continue through the village, back into the 100km zone, over the Barrington Bridge (single lane bridge), veer right at the next intersection heading towards Walcha. You are now on Thunderbolts Way, follow this road for approx. 20km. Aysgarth Cottage driveway entrance is on the left hand side.
There is a sign at entrance follow the tar road to the bottom of hill instead of taking sharp right hand turn that goes over bridge, follow the dirt road straight in front, the cottage is about 800mtrs  along road on the left.

Please bear in mind, if arriving at night, it will be very dark as there are no street lights and the entry to Aysgarth is not lit.

Thank you. We had a wonderful time at the Cottage. It was good quality, comfortable and appointed with everything we needed. The scene was idyllic and we actually just sat for a day watching it. It's a perfect place to get away and unwind, and remember again what really matters. Peace and quiet, amongst experiences with birds, wildlife, cows and nature. We'll definitely go again.5/5 by , Sydney
