Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation
Note: Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.
Deposit of 50% of the full tariff is required to secure the booking. Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Balance of the rental amount must be paid in full upon check-in along with a bond of $100 per the number of days of occupancy or $500.00, which ever is greater. The bond will be returned to the client within 5 business days of departure provided that there is no damage, carpet or furniture staining or loss to the property.
Deposit is fully refundable if cancellation is made 60 days or more prior to the move in date. 0-59 days prior to arrival, no refunds are provided for the deposit or remaining balance of the tariff. No refunds are made for early departures.
If any of the terms and conditions are breached, guests will be asked to leave with no refunds.
A current drivers licence or passport identification is required upon arrival before checking in.
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.
Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice (maximum 6 non staying guests) or subsequently agreed in writing or email.
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments.
Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay. Any damages or loss exceeding the bond amount are the full responsibility of the tenant.
Departure - the property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. Check-out time is 10am by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests.
Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.
Bond is payable on a credit card at the same time as the balance is paid upon arrival. The bond will be refunded within 5 business days in full subject to the above conditions being met. It is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, telephone call costs, excessive computer downloads, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, loss or damage to loaned equipment such as bicycles.
If cost of replacement or repair of lost or damaged equipment exceeds the bond amount, such as damage to televisions, stereo equipment or kayaks, the replacement cost is the the full responsibility of the tenant.
Linen is to be supplied by the tenant or arrangements can be made to supply linen. Please contact us to make arrangements at least 14 days before arrival.
Pets are not allowed unless specific arrangements have been made with the owner.
Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant’s personal property.
Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.
