TERMS & CONDITIONS OF RENTAL
Applicable to guests who occupy the property for a limited period, under licence. This is not a residential tenancy agreement.
DEPOSIT A deposit of 50% of the total rent is required to confirm a booking. Any bank fees charged are your responsibility, as my bank does not charge me to receive funds. (An intermediate banking charge often applies to overseas transactions). Payment can be made by bank transfer, (account details are supplied on request), or by sending a bank draft, Australian Post Office money order, or personal cheque (Australian bank only), or by providing details of your Visa, Master Card (5% surcharge applies), or American Express (6% surcharge applies), A surcharge applies to all credit card payments.
For security purposes credit card details can be sent in 2 or 3 separate emails and, or text messages. Credit card details can also be provided via a direct phone call.
Bookings made more than 7 (Seven) days in advance require a deposit of 50% of the total price of the booking.
This deposit is non refundable in the event of a cancellation.
Bookings made less than 7 (Seven) days in advance can be guaranteed with details of a credit card. A credit card test transaction of 0.01 (one cent) applies. The full amount of rent paid can be paid on arrival. If you cancel your booking, or do not arrive for the accommodation you have reserved you will incur a charge of 100% of the tariff quoted plus a credit card surcharge.
Please check that the details of your arrival and departure dates are correct as it may not be possible to change them in the future.
PAYMENT Must be made in full on arrival by cash, Australian dollar bank draft, Australian Post Office money order, Australian Dollar travel cheques or credit card. Payment can be made in advance of your arrival by credit card, transfer into my bank account, by a personal cheque from an Australian bank. Please allow enough time for funds to be cleared by my bank before your arrival date.
Credit card payments are subject to a surcharge.
CANCELLATION The 50% deposit is non refundable in the event of a cancellation.
No refunds or reductions of the final payment will be made in respect of cancellations or shortening of your booking after arrival.
SECURITY BOND GUARANTEE A Visa, Master Card or American Express guarantee of $700 (seven hundred) , is required, (for each unit), to cover any loss of keys, additional cleaning costs, or damage to the property or its furnishings. You will be requested to provide details of a Visa, Master Card or American Express as guarantee for this amount on arrival if your credit card details have not previously been supplied. If you do not have a Visa, Master Card or American Express, a deposit of $700 (seven hundred) per unit, is required on or before your arrival.
PRICING The price you have been quoted is for the number of people you have requested. If you would like to accommodate any additional people, we are able to arrange this at an additional cost. It is preferred that you inform us in advance so we can prepare the accommodation for your additional guest(s).
BED LINEN One set of linen for each occupied bed, and one bath towel per person are provided. Additional towels and bed linen can be provided at an additional cost. Please order these in advance of your arrival. Towels are for use within the property, and not for use at the beach, pool, etc. The laundry fee does not apply to guests who prefer to provide their own bed linen and, or bath towels.
CLEANING An optional, basic arrival cleaning fee is charged for each booking. This varies depending on the number of people.
The optional cleaning fee does not apply to guests who do not require the cleaning service on their arrival date. Cleaning products are provided at the property. We visit the property between each booking to assure the property is in a reasonably tidy condition.
ARRIVAL Check in time is after 10 a.m. You may be able to check in while the cleaning is in progress, if you prefer. Please call us half an hour before you arrive at the property. We will meet you at the property to give you the keys and collect any final payment, and, or Security Bond Guarantee due. If you are arriving at unsociable hours we can make alternate arrangements for key collection and final payment.
DEPARTURE Check out time is strictly by 10.00 am. Late check out can sometimes be arranged at an additional cost. Keys must be returned by prior arrangement, either personally, or by leaving them at the premises on your departure date. The cost of re-cutting keys is your responsibility if they are lost. If the property is left in an untidy / messy condition, or smells of smoke, a fee for additional cleaning will be charged.
SMOKING Outside only please, additional cleaning fees are charged if the inside of the property smells of smoke.
PETS Some pets are welcome by prior arrangement only.
