Come stay with us in our spacious Newport beach house. Heather and I have four rooms available: We have two ocean view rooms with double beds for $160 per night with breakfast and a single for $130 per night. Those rooms are on the ground floor with a bathroom, sitting room with cable TV, coffee/tea makings and a bar fridge. That space and bathroom are yours alone as we will not book other guests during the same period.
Four rooms available sleeping up to 7, (but not the whole house). Downstairs are two doubles with ocean views and a single room that open to a private TV/sitting room and bathroom that will not be shared with other guests. The sitting room has pay TV, a stereo and bar fridge with tea/coffee making facilities. A separate spillover double room with garden view and ensuite is available upstairs for larger groups or when the downstairs area is booked. A washer and dryer is available but no cooking facilities are available for guests.
For larger groups, such as three couples, we have a top floor overflow room. It is a larger bedroom with double bed, ensuite and a garden view, again for $150/$160. A group discount would be available if that room is needed. A continental breakfast is included which is served on the patio (with a view to New Zealand) or in our living room if the weather is unkind. The whole house is not available but we are open to offers to rent for $1500 per week for three to six months. The cost could also be re-negotiated. The rooms are $10 cheaper without breakfast and discounts apply for longer stays through special offers. Free WIFI is available.
We have 52 steps up to our black front door, so the property is not suitable for guests with mobility issues.
Newport has easy access to surf beaches, fishing spots, boating, bushwalking, great restaurants, pubs and clubs, cinemas and sporting facilities. Newport is less than an hours drive from the city and is well served by frequent public buses.
Newport is on Sydney's beautiful northern beaches 35 km from the CBD. We have a large number of good restaurants, a great pub (the Newport Arms) and a supermarket. Public transport is through high frequency express or limited stop buses that take approximately an hour to travel to and from the city. A car would be preferable and ample street or driveway parking is available.
There are excellent beaches and there is plenty to see and do in the area. Just ask - we have lived in this great street since 1979!
