Standard Terms and Conditions of Temporary Holiday Accommodation
Note: Variances can be agreed on but only by arrangement with the owner in writing.
Deposit of 25% non refundable is required to secure the booking. Payment of the rental deposit constitutes the clients acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Balance of the rental amount must be received in full 7 days prior to occupancy. If not the owner has the right to cancel the booking and attempt to re let it.
Cancellation if caused by the client, money paid is not refundable unless the house is re-let for the entire period. If a refund is made due to the property being relet then a $50 cancellation fee will apply.
The owners will make every effort to ensure the property is available as booked. However the owners reserve the right to make alterations to bookings due to unforeseen circumstances.
To maintain a good standard for our guests we require certain conditions to be complied with. We appreciate most will respect our property but the occasional abuse requires that we state the following conditions.
Number of Guests should not exceed the number stated on the Confirmation Notice or subsequently agreed in writing or email. Fees will apply for excess guests not agreed with the owners in advance.
Parties and Functions are strictly prohibited. The price charged is for domestic use only and not commercial. Accordingly this rate does not allow for the extra wear associated with functions in terms of cleaning, garbage removal, wear and tear, repairs etc. Use contrary to this may result in loss of your bond and/or additional payments. Mollymundra is a family friendly property and is situated in a quite area. We do not tolerate loud noise, parties and anit social behaviour. Please respect our neighbours who are young families.
Damage, Breakages, Theft and Loss are the tenants responsibility during their stay and you need to notify Belinda on 0410 016613 as soon as they occur. Please do not attempt to break into the property if you have locked yourself out, please call Belinda on 0410 016 613 to arrange access.
*The property should be left in a similar state to its condition on arrival. We would prefer that you don't move the furniture around but if you do please ensure that it goes back before you leave.
*Check-out time is 10:00am by the latest, to allow time to prepare property for next guests.
*Please remove all used linen from beds and place in laundry for washing along with all used towels, hand towels and floor mats.
*All washing up should be done and put away, along with unpacking the dishwasher.
*Please empty all garbage bins from inside the house and put into the garbage bins outside. Garbage bins must be put out the front of the property for rubbish collection on Sunday evening. If bins are not put out for collection on Sunday evening then you will be charged for rubbish removal. Any excess garbage that does not fit into the bins is your responsibility to remove from property. Extra fees will apply if garbage has to be removed on your behalf. Please ensure that only recyclables are put into the yellow bin. Rubbish goes into the Red bin.
*Please remove all food from fridge and wipe out any spills or mess.
*Please wipe out the microwave and oven if you have used them.
*Please make sure that the BBQ has been cleaned before your departure otherwise a $50 cleaning fee will be taken from your bond.
*Please make sure the property is secure before you leave lock all doors and windows, put the remote control for the garage back on top of the microwave and put the key back in the secure box.
**EXTRA CHARGES WILL BE TAKEN FROM YOUR BOND IF EXTRA CLEANING IS REQUIRED**
If you've been at the beach please make sure all sand is removed before entering the house. You will find a tap and a hose just outside on the garage wall.
Disturbance to our neighbours, including excessive noise, is prohibited and may result in termination of rental and loss of bond.
Bond is payable at the same time as the balance amount. The bond will be refunded in full subject to the above conditions being met. It is designed to cover any additional costs incurred including but not limited to, any breakage, damage or excess cleaning requirements, extra guests beyond those declared ..etc.
Bed linen and towels are supplied. Please bring your own beach towels for swimming.
Mollymundra is striclty a non smoking property smoking will result in the loss of your bond.
Pets are not allowed unless specific arrangements have been made in writing with the owner.
Loss - the owners take no responsibility for the tenant’s personal property.
Variations to these conditions may only be made by prior arrangements with the owner in writing.
