WE WANT YOU TO ENJOY YOUR STAY SO IT IS IMPORTANT TO US THAT WE MATCH YOUR EXPECTATIONS TO WHAT OUR HOUSE CAN OFFER YOU. The house is set-up on eco-sustainability principles with solar powered energy and hot water. It offers a natural setting with plentiful bird life and light filled rooms. Please consider if this house is suitable for your purposes before booking.
The Guest agrees to the following Terms and Conditions when booking our holiday house at Lennox Head. Any departure from such Terms and Conditions permits us, to refuse the key or immediately terminate the booking.
BOOKINGS/PAYMENTS: Deposit of 50% of total tariff is to be paid within 7 days of booking. Non payment of this deposit will be deemed a cancellation of the booking. The balance of the payment to be made 4 weeks in advance of the booking date. December through to end of January must be paid by 1 November or when booking if between 1 November and 30 January.
BOOKING CONDITIONS: Bookings are accepted by us in good faith, however we cannot accept responsibility for the malfunction of any inventory articles. The person making the booking must stay in the property and will be held responsible for the conduct of all visitors (no more than 4 visitors are permitted on the property at any one time and they are not permitted to remain overnight). The property is let to you for holiday purposes only for the period stated on the booking email and for the maximum persons as agreed for the booking.
SECURITY BOND: A security bond of $250 will be required before keys are released. The security bond will be returned in full once cleaning inspection has been undertaken. Funds will be deducted from the security bond if we need to make a claim which may include, but is not limited to the following; excess cleaning fees, damage or breakages, excess garbage removal, late check out.
CHECK IN AND VACATING TIMES: The property will be available for occupation from 2pm on the day of arrival and is to be vacated by 10am on the day of departure unless prior arrangements are made with us. Failure to vacate at the required time will incur a penalty of fifty dollars. All times quoted are local. Keys are to be returned to the key safe on the premises.
CANCELATION OF BOOKING: - Cancellation will incur full forfeit of monies paid unless the property is re-let then an administration fee of $120 applies. All changes and cancellations must be in writing.
NUMBER OF PERSONS: It is essential that the number of holiday guests must not exceed the number stated when booking, should you exceed this amount your booking will be terminated immediately.
NOISE: Guests must not create noise which is offensive to occupiers of neighbouring properties especially between 10pm - 8am and during arrival and departure and at any time throughout the occupancy.
POOL: No glass is permitted in the pool area and swimming in the pool is not permitted 10pm – 7am.
GATHERINGS/FUNCTIONS: The property is not a “party house” and any such activities are strictly prohibited.
SECURITY AND DAMAGE, LOSS OR THEFT OF GUESTS’ PROPERTY: Whenever you are absent from the property, close all windows and doors to maintain security and prevent rain and water damage.
No responsibility is taken for guests’ personal property left on the premises.
DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES: Breakages and/or damage to property/and or furniture and furnishings not caused by normal wear and tear will be claimed from your security bond. Please note that it is not our intention to charge for the replacement of a broken glass. Please note that our cleaners do a detailed inventory check both before and after your occupation.
KEYS: Keys will be made available once all monies have been paid in full.
PETS: Pets are not permitted on or inside the property.
SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted inside the property.
PARKING: Parking is available on the street in front of the property.
CLEANING: Please assist by leaving the property clean and tidy, with cutlery and cooking utensils washed and put away, place wet towels in the bathroom, clean BBQ area and ensure all garbage is taken out, lock all doors and windows and return keys to key safe. Failure to do so will incur an additional cleaning fee.
LOST KEYS: a $55 fee will be charged if you are locked out of the property and require assistance from us to gain entry after hours. If keys are lost all locks must be changed at a cost of $120 to the guest.
