Thank you for booking with Main Range Real Estate. Please read the following Terms and Conditions as all bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by and be bound by these terms and conditions.
Deposit and Final Payments
50% deposit of the total tariff is required at time of booking (to secure the booking).
The balance of the deposit is due one month prior to arrival.
Failure to send balance by due date can result in cancellation of booking.
Each booking includes a $20 booking fee payable to Main Range Real Estate.
Additional booking fees may be charged if you are booking via a 3rd party website.
All booking fees are included in the initial deposit payment and are not refundable as part of a booking cancellation.
A security bond of $500 is payable on or before arrival. This can be paid by cash, direct deposit (prior to arrival) or credit card pre authorisation (for bookings under 7 days). The credit card pre authorisation will hold your funds for up to 7 days from the day it is processed. The security bond must be paid before you have access to the property.
The security deposit will be applied to all damage, breakages or losses to the property and/or furniture, furnishings, and lock and key replacements. The security deposit will also be applied to any additional cost of cleaning the premises if they are not left in good order and condition.
Deposit and tariff payments are by direct deposit, credit card (MasterCard/Visa), or cheque.
Security bond payments are by direct deposit (with prior arrangement to allow bank processing), credit card (MasterCard / Visa) for bookings 7 days or more, pre-authorised credit card payment (Mastercard/Visa) for bookings less than 7 days, or cash.
All credit card payments will incur a 2% surcharge (does not include pre-authorisations for security bond).
Booking Cancellations and Amendments
Deposits will be refunded less a cancellation fee of $50 if more than 4 weeks' notice is given.
If less than 4 weeks' notice is given there is no refund unless the property is re-let for the period of the cancelled booking. In this instance a cancellation fee of $50 will apply.
All cancellations must be notified in writing (letter, fax, email).
All booking fees are included in the initial deposit payment and are not refundable as part of a booking cancellation (see Booking Fees above).
Amendments to confirmed bookings (deposit paid) may incur a fee of $30.
Arrivals & Departures
Properties are available from 3:00pm on day of arrival.
Properties must be vacated by 10:00am on day of departure.
Number of Persons
The number of occupants must not exceed the number of persons permitted to occupy the booked premises. The maximum number of persons is included in all advertising and correspondence, and is displayed at the property. The booking will be terminated immediately if the maximum number of persons is exceeded.
Noise and Behaviour
No person in the booked premises shall conduct themselves so as to cause a nuisance to adjoining or neighbouring occupants.
The occupants of a booked property agree to allow the Agent or his nominee to enter the rented premises to arrange necessary repairs.
All accommodation is for residential purposes only. Functions and parties are not permitted.
Travel Insurance is strongly recommended.
