GETTING HERE

BY SHUTTLE BUS FROM AIRPORT

This is the most economical way to get to Wake Up! from Sydney Airport – catch the bus with one of Sydney’s many Airport Shuttle companies. Shuttle services generally run between 5.00am and 10.00pm.

Expect to pay between AU$14-$37* and the journey will take between 40 – 60 minutes.

BY TRAIN FROM AIRPORT

The train leaves the international and domestic terminals of Sydney Airport regularly. Follow the signs that say ‘Trains’ inside the terminal and buy a ticket before you board – choose Central Station as your destination. Wake Up! is situated across the road from Central Station, on the Pitt Street side.

Expect to pay approximately AU$18* for a one-way ticket – the journey will take approximately 15 minutes.

BY TAXI OR RIDESHARE FROM AIRPORT

Taxi and rideshare prices from the airport to Wake Up! can vary depending on the time of day, traffic and route taken. With a rideshare service like Uber, it also depends on the ride option chosen, with UberX being the cheapest option.

Expect to pay around AU$45 – $60* and the journey will take between 30-60 minutes.

BY COACH

If you’ve arrived in Sydney by coach, you will have been dropped off within 100 metres of Wake Up! Coaches drop off on Pitt St, the Western Forecourt of Central Railway Station* or Railway Square. Wake Up! is located across the road from the Pitt St bus bays.

Guest Behavior The comfort, safety and security of our guests is of paramount importance to us at Wake Up! Sydney. Any guest(s) who, in the opinion of our staff, compromise the comfort, safety or security of other guests, staff or local residents will be requested to leave the hostel premises and will not be offered a refund. Guests are expected to respect other guests, staff, local residents and property.

No Drugs Drug use is illegal in Australia. Any guest found using drugs within the building will be asked to leave the premises immediately and will not be offered a refund.

Alcohol consumption Alcohol consumption in the hostel is permitted in the 1st floor common area between 2pm & 10pm only. Alcohol must not be kept or consumed in the room at any time. Any alcohol found in the rooms will be confiscated and returned upon checkout. Alcohol is available in Side Bar during it's hours of operation. Due to the nature of the liquor license no alcohol purchased in Side Bar can be consumed outside of Side Bar Non-Guests Only registered guests are permitted into the accommodation areas of our property.

* We have not made any charges to your credit card. Your credit card details have been collected to secure your reservation only and you will be required to pay all accommodation charges upon check-in.

*Prices quoted in AUD & subject to change over Mardi Gras, Christmas & New Years in addition to other selected events

* Credit cards used to make the reservation must be presented upon checkin.

*Accommodation is prepaid on arrival

*Prepayments for accommodation between the 22nd of December and the 4th of January (inclusive) are non-refundable.

*For last minute, multiple person reservations, in periods of high demand it may not be possible to put all occupants in the same room. We shall certainly do our best though!

*We do not accept guests under the age of 18 years of age.

*A 1% surcharge is applicable on all card transactions, including contactless transactions.

* We have a cancellation period of 48 hours. Reservations cancelling inside this period will incur a 1 night charge.

"Best place in Sydney" This was the best hostel I have ever been in. They have put me on a higher floor on request and let me check in early. The receptionist Alba was also a very nice person and took us on a free walking tour. The bathrooms are very spacious and clean and are cleaned everyday. There is a bar (free for guests) under the hostel which was great. They also organised activities every day and there was a big kitchen. Location right across the central station. Perfect stay!
