The Golden Sands Motor Inn is the friendly motel in the heart of Forster.

We have 24 motel rooms and 2 fully self contained apartments. The motel rooms range from a small buget room with a double bed then up to a standard queen with some having a verandah or balcony. There are large premium rooms which have couches and small dining tables. We also have family rooms that can sleep five and a wheelchair friendly room. The three bedroom unit has two queens in seperate rooms and two single beds in the third bedroom. It has a large lounge/dining area and a kitchen and laundry as well as a lock up garage.

We are located a minutes walk to the beach/lake and the same to shops, cafes, and restaurants.

Cool down in our  swimming pool. Cook yourself a BBQ or relax and enjoy the breeze from your own sunny balcony or enjoy a movie, sport or discovery on free cable TV.

The Golden Sands is ideal for weekends away, family holidays, romantic getaways or business trips.

Payment Policy

Credit card is required at time of booking via our secure website. Payment will be deducted from your card at time of booking and a receipt given upon your arrival. Early check in can be arranged but is not guaranteed as is late checkout. We have a night contact number but hours are 7.30am to 9.30pm.

You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking 

You may be required to provide a credit card imprint or equivalent at check in to cover incidental charges.

The person registering at check in must be at least 18 years of age.

In addition, to eliminate identity fraud the Golden Sands Motor Inn may ask you to provide photo ID at check-in to ensure that your identity matches the booking identity. A record and/or copy of this photo ID may be retained by the Golden Sands Motor Inn to minimise the risk of fraudulent credit card usage and for verification purposes with your credit card provider in the event of disputation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations must be made 48 hours before check-in time (which is 2pm) on the day of check-in or one nights accommodation will be charged.

During the Christmas School Holidays cancellations must be made 96 hours (4 days) before check-in or a minimum of one nights accommodation will be charged.
