Lounge and Hemnes Day Bed

Located ONE STREET BACK from the beach, the property boasts an amazing position, just 90 seconds walk to the family friendly Callala Beach. 

The home is a lovely 3 bedroom 2 toilet house with a large yard to play in after a swim at the beach. The kitchen is fully self contained including a microwave and large stainless steel fridge, as well as a large meals room with its own 32 inch T.V. The lounge room is equipped with a large 42 inch plasma T.V and comfortable couches. 

Outside there is a cold shower to wash off the sand after a day out at the beach. There is also a covered outdoor area with a large timber outdoor table.

The house sleeps 8 people, with the Hemnes day bed in the lounge room giving the option to extend this to 9. The house is configured to allow 2 families with 2 children each to share a holiday together.

Bring the kids and relax with your friends at this idyllic hidden gem of the South Coast.

 

LAYOUT

Open plan L shaped living area with large windows allowing natural sunlight. Featuring comfortable lounges just like home, 8KW powerful split system air conditioning. Hemnes day bed. There is an amazing 42" plasma TV with loads of movies on the external hard drive (no Foxtel or DVD player). There are a selection of board games.

Bedroom 1: Features a comfortable queen bed (Solid Timber) with built-in wardrobe, and tall boy. 
Sleeps 2 - (for couple # 1)

Bedroom 2: Features a comfortable double bed (Lowline in black-brown wood tone) with tall boy and looks out onto the level garden. 
Sleeps 2 - (for couple # 2)

Bedroom 3: Features two sets of solid timber bunk beds, with large floor to ceiling mirrored built-in wardrobe.
Sleeps 4 - (for 4 children)

Hemnes Day Bed in lounge room: 
Sleeps 1.

Kitchen: Stone bench kitchen. Wall oven and hot plates, Samsung 321L stainless steel fridge, L.G 38L microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery and crockery, cooking utensils and a second wall mounted 32" TV.

Dining/meals: Solid timber dining table that seats 8 in the dining room off the kitchen, which looks onto the T.V and outdoor area.

Main bathroom: Functional bathroom, toilet, combined shower (with adjustable shower rail) over the bath tub underneath, IXL fan and heat lamp.

Secondary single toilet located adjacent to the laundry.

Laundry: Laundry has a Fisher & Paykel 5.5Kg Quicksmart washing machine, laundry tub, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, mops, brushes, detergents e.t.c.

Outside: Large pergola with large outdoor timber table seats 8. Gas BBQ and wood/coal BBQ stored in the shed for your benefit. Cold shower on back wall of the house to wash off those 'Sandy Toes' and more after a day at the beach. Large level yard. Colorbond fence to 3 sides (only) and secure hoop fence to frontage. Powerful L.E.D floodlights and sensor lights all around the external points of the house to ensure maximum lighting. 

Parking: Long driveway which is perfect if you want to bring the boat and plenty of space inside the front fence boundary for at least three cars.

THINGS TO DO

Perfect for a weekend getaway or longer. Enjoy walks along the squeaky clean white sandy beach, reading a book on the sand, swimming in the famous clear waters of Jervis Bay, watch the local pod of dolphins, migrating whales, kayaking, fishing, tennis, golf and many other local activities and attractions in neighbouring Huskisson, Vincentia, and Hyams Beach, or stay at home and watch T.V, or fire up the bbq.

At night, listen to the waves and watch the night sky come alive in a brilliant star show. 

GETTING THERE FROM SYDNEY

Callala Beach is an easy 2 hours 15 minutes from Sydney and 20 minutes from Nowra C.B.D. Callala Bay is 5 minutes drive, which is home to the the local shopping centre featuring IGA, chemist, cafes, bakery, takeaway food, hardware store. Callala Bay also has a lovely boat ramp for all your boating needs.

So pack the bag and order the steak and you are on your way.

Strictly No pets inside. Pets may be considered with responsible owners, so please let is know, as the property currently has no fence to one side.

There is no side fence to one side of the property.

50% deposit is required upon booking and the balance is payable 28 days prior to your stay. 100% loss of money if cancelled 14 days or less from start date of your proposed stay, otherwise if more than 14 days notice of cancellation, you will incur loss of 50%.

Payment is non refundable if cancelled by the client.

A $500.00 refundable deposit bond is required for each stay.

Please bring your own towels.

Please treat our house as if it is your own.

House is suited for families, ideally 2 families holidaying together. No young people looking to party. We have lovely neighbors who we are great friends with and would like to keep that way. 

•Ensure all washing up is done, all items are clean and returned to their correct place. 

•Empty the fridge & freezer and leave clean for the next guests.
•Leave all rubbish in the bins and leave the bins out the front. Take all excess rubbish with you. 
•Do not move furniture.
•Leave generally tidy.
•Clean up spills and food and drink mess quickly, especially on the flooring as it will absorb the liquid and swell up permanently.
•Treat the house with respect.
•Clean the BBQ after use and return to shed.
•No smoking inside.
•No pets inside. 
•Notify us if something gets broken. We understand things break. We understand the house will have some maintenance required. Where something is old, low cost to replace, or we know we can fix it easily, we will simply take care of it for the next guests. Of course damage from misuse or negligence will be claimed on your bond. Communication is key and we like to hear from you about problems rather than from the cleaner or neighbors. 
•The white plastic chairs can be used out side in the covered porch area. When leaving bring them inside as you found them.
•Check all windows are closed and put timber dowels in place on check out.
•Close all curtains and blinds on check out.
•Lock all doors when leaving the house always, and return both sets of keys to secure key box and scramble code on check out.

We have professional cleaners come after each booking, the cleaners are not contracted to put things back where they should be, or to clean up your mess, we ask you to leave it tidy, so the cleaner can clean. If the cleaner needs to stay longer and put things away, clean fridges or BBQ etc, any extra charges will be claimed from your bond. Our cleaner happily provides photo’s for this purpose. 
Most of our past guests have been wonderful, these rules are in place to ensure that no guests are disadvantaged and costs are kept low. We are committed to offering a clean, tidy, and lovely home for families to enjoy in this stunning part of the world.
